Cotto is clearly on another level in the welterweight division.

Please. This was Cottos first fight at 147 and he massacred Quintana. Cottos resume looks even better by vitue of his past opponents present success e.g Quintana, Torres etc.....

The Quintana who fought Williams last night is the same fighter who schooled Julio and lost to Cotto. The only difference being the opponents. Williams and Julio both seemed bewildered by Quintana's southpaw style and movement. After 4 close rounds, Cotto made adjustments by switching up his attack and eventually taking Quintana out. One opponent had the ability to assess an opponent and adjust as needed. The other two did not.

Cotto didn't let him box he cut the ring off on him and destroyed him ...Cotto is a beast....
that was also his first fight at 147 he's even better now after having had fights with Urkal, Judah, and Mosley !
If they fight again it will be the same result

HBO sensationalized it just a TAD!!! Quintana was behind by 1 point on the official cards going in to the 5th rd. Max Coked Up Sellerman can play wit himself.
Yet, undoubtedly? Miguel Cotto stepped and and SHINED:good Going on to beat SSM after that and has proven that he is the #1 Contender and in fact has the best resume at 47.
I became a cotto fan that night because he proved that he could BOX his way in. You wont sit, slip, and be cute and roll against Miguel Cotto:nono
THATS WHY FLOYDS DUCKING HIM RIGHT NOW!! How you say? Another DLH fight is a huge QUACK

wrong.
This is simple, Cotto brutally beat down Quintana (the same quintana that fought yesterday). And Quintana just exposed Williams. That is all there is to it. There is no way to run circles around this, Q made Williams look stupid.

I myself thing Floyds the guy in his own little world just sadly he wont prove it agianst other Welterweights then its Mosley and Cotto im sorry but I cant go ranking Cotto head and shoulder above Mosley when I thought Mosley won. After them I think then you can go to Margarito,Cintron,Clottley,Williams,Quintana,Judah.

torres is very overrated he got a split decision over the dreadful mike arnaoustis and was way behind on points when the referee questionably stopped his bout with kendall holt in round 11

He had no choice. Cotto is too good at cutting off the ring and his body shots took Quintana's legs away. They could fight 10 times and the result would only be more devastating each time as Cotto would ruin Quintana more and more.
