i don't understand what happened in the first vid ? that guy looked like he was in terrible pain.

......his first opponent didn't even know how to punch correctly, he didn't even have take down defence, Fedor just headlocked him and the guy seemed to go down willingly without a struggle. Very odd.
The 2nd guy didn't seem partcularly skilled either. What calibre of opponent are these guys? Aren't the all amatuer fighters? (meaning they have day jobs)

umm yea. You're not gona make money doing that sport unless you go into MMA. Most people from Red Devil team have jobs too. Many soccer players in Russia have jobs also.

First video is incomplete. The pain is probably because he just submitted by Fedor. To reply their "not particularly skilled" I think this has to do with the fact that they were facing arguably the best MMA fighter out there?

Why don't they all go into professional fighting?

Both of them lasted longer than his last MMA opponent.

There's not a lot of money there at lower levels. They are probably engineers/computer programmers or what not. They are making way more money at their day jobs and just simply don't wanna go training for MMA 24/7 and basicly have no money. Plus, to be a professional fighter you need certain character that many people do not posses.

Not to mention one of the best Sambo practitioners ever.
ANd the only combat sports that make money are boxing and MMA, and about 3 kickboxers as well.
