I've seen McGirt Jr on Sports NY and the guy looks like a pretty good fighter for his age/level.

If he faced JCC Jr, He'd probably pop that jab, drink some water and do what he worked on in sparring to get a UD.

You are correct. Mc Girt fights between midd and super middle and Chavez fights between welter and super welter.
