View Full Version : Wladimir and Lamon seemed to have a Gentlemen's Agreement.

A agreement that said, "Don't hit me with your righthand and I won't hit you with mine". After watching and rewatching the fight. It was obvious that neither fighter was trying to stop the other. Brewster stayed outside for the most part and flicked a short jab. He threw 3 or four half hearted rights as he awkwardly jumped in. While Wladimir jabbed and jabbed and jabbed and .......etc.
Sometimes even the Sweet Science can hover on the edge of being fake.

The fight was not as obvious of a Gentlemen's Agreement as Byrd vs Williamson but it was close.

If neither was trying to stop the other than Wlad did a really shitty job because I lost my over 7 rounds bet.

well look at his other fights. Hes been very conservative many times not throwing the right for a few rounds. As the fight progressed the frequency of the right increased and would have kept increasing.

Remember this is the dude that KTFO.
You would expect Wlad to a little more cautious.

Gentleman's bet? This coming from someone who believe's AWOL, Deserter Bush, is a war hero? And Congressional Medal Of Honor Bob Kerry, US Navy Seals is a coward?! Cheney five deferments?! Point is that logic so upside down makes logic? Up is down and down in up?
Vlad is, by far, the best heavyweight in the world today. Check out Brewster's face before and after the fight!
I hope that this is not serious. Wladimir does not use his right as much recently. And why doing it when he has a perfect jab. He finished Austin without thrwoing a right. He can finish his fights with lefts.
