More importantly, does anyone care?I'm sure there will be someone along soon to proclaim how Hide can be cruiserweight champ of the world sometime soon, how he would have a real chance of beating David Haye or someone similar, etc, etc, etc.

Haye can be cruiserweight champ of the world soon. He would easily beat USS Cunningham.

What ? His German promoter has promised him a shot for a bonafide belt.

If he gets a shot at USS he will beat him. Hide may not have a very good chin but he still brings more to the table than USS Cuntingham.

As all the wrestling fans used to say when Big Daddy used to enter the ring .... Easy Easy Easy Easy Easy.

Hide will be along to agree anytime soon.No doubt harping on about their similarities. I can't believe there has not been a flurry Hidehuggers rushing in to support the "Dancing Destroyer".

Herbie is only trying to cash in on a weak heavyweight division.Hello Ivan007! I take it you mean cruiserweight, rather than heavyweight?

He has fought 45 times, and only one fight has gone the intended distance!

He would have a puncher's chance against anyone, but once he gets clocked, lights out i'm afraid.

He's 11th by WBC and 6th by WBO. Great to see him in a ring with with Macca or Haye. The Macca fight could happen but as Hide is wanting criuseweight glory now an Haye fight would be very unlikely. The lad has been doing well recently fighting in Germany against modest opposition but he is starting to get more serious fights, the last fight was supposed to be even betting but Hide blew the guy away.

Hide will beat the likes of Macca and USS Cuntingham. I think Macca would beat Cuntingham as well. He is the weakest link on the CW division.

I doubt he will get a fight against Macca. Hide is reluctant to come back to the UK as he has a few court appearances outstanding. Doubt Macca would travel to Germany.

Frank ****** wouldn't let anyone travel to Germany!

In fact, he never lets anyone travel abroad anywhere, unless they back him into a corner and threaten to leave him!

I would not surprised if he got hold of a belt. As i've said he is looking pretty good against ok opposition and could soon lay claim to a title shot.

Hide does not face "ok" opposition. He built up a statistically impressive record from fighting less than "ok" opposition. 2 fights ago he stopped a guy without even laying a glove on him.
Unfortunately this is what Herbie Hide has always been about. He has a decent enough dig, but only at a certain level. If he had a genuine punchers chance of glory, his record would have at least a few meaningful wins on it.
