Just read this has been made- Well done Mathew Macklin he's changed trainers and is going right at it against a name opponent who will defiantely be a handful... No one can ever accuse Macklin of taking the easy route. :good

Good fight for Macklin , a decent test and also a name opponent that will help bring him on should he get the win .

Even an old Campas will be a tough fight. Very experienced and a good body puncher. It would be a good scalp for Macklin and I give him a good shot here as Yori Boy is way past his prime and his prime was at welterweight.

Campus gave Duddy a great fight. Campus still has some quality moves even now.

Ya but Asikainen stopped him in 7 , so I think Yori Boy could be getting to the point where you start to fade quicker . Not that Asikainen is a bad fighter , he can punch too but Yori would have lasted the distance with him not that long ago .
wow...didn't realise campas had had so many fights. 102!

Is Matt trained by mcGirt now? there was talks he was going to Floyd senior, but now news is he's with Buddy
Asikainen will rock and drop any middleweight if he hits him like he hit Campas in rd7 and Sylvester in rd8 of their first meeting... Yori Boy wouldn´t have survived that punch even in his prime. But he might have ducked it, hehehe.

I heard about this fight a week or so ago. It sounds interesting and looks a good way for Macklin to put his name out there. Hopefully after the win he can get a crack at a title, maybe domestic or European. I would love to see him square up against Duudy, that would be an all out war.
