Kevin Randleman:
"My first response is oh well. I am not fighting in the UFC so it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other. Alot of people didn't believe in him anymore but he is good enough to win in the UFC. It takes time to adjust to the cage. I don't think it is good or bad for the sport and I am really not surprised that he left."
Mark Coleman:
"Basically, I could really care less. It was his choice, he came into the UFC and got whipped and now he left. I wouldn't say that I am suprised but now he is going to have to live with coming in, getting smashed and not finishing the job."
Bas Rutten:
"I feel bad to hear that he is leaving because I really wanted to see the Cro Cop that I knew from Japan because I think that he wasn't the same Cro Cop in the UFC, so I can understand if he wants to go to another organization. God Speed!!"
"Babalu" Sobral:
"I have heard of the new organization and I am surprised the UFC isn't suing him yet. Good for Cro Cop, he didn't have a good experience in the UFC so it is good that he is able to go fight somewhere else. He is a very good fighter."
Cheick Kongo:
"Cro Cop needs some juices and there he can use them without getting in trouble."

I guess Kongo is right at home in the UFC where he can lowblow people as many times as he likes to.

Kongo`s a fine one to talk. His got the chest development of a bodybuilder and is a hard 230lbs. His also known for his insane physical strength. With a takedown defense like his id prefer if he showed some respect. His nothing more than an average can.
I'm as a big a Cro Cop fan in the world, but I can see why people would be critical of him leaving. Heck, I'm a little critical. But Kongo, of all people, shouldn't talk like that. At least Cro Cop had a good sprawl. Kongo makes Tim Sylvia look like a jiu jitsu master on the ground.

He has however fought well in a tested organization, and its not like hes making some outrageous claim.

Kongo is blowing test up his ass as well. Hypocracy abounds with these guys.

an average can? he has won 4 out of 5 in the UFC and his ground game has improved since the Carmelo fight, he did well on the ground against Ausserio Silva and dominated CC on the ground as well and he is steadily getting better, depends on how he does against Herring He should put himself in title shot contention. I think he deserves it more then Werdum does.

He's passing tests though.
And no its not as easy as everybody thinks to avoid getting caught....thats why the richest athletes in the world still get caught.

Cro cop was one of the biggest disapointments ever. I'm glad he''s fucked off.

Few get as many bys as Cro. He's not invincible and that's pretty much it.

He has however fought well in a tested organization, and its not like hes making some outrageous claim.Of course its outrageous. What if CC decided to pursue his claim and sue him for defamation of character. Its unfair to make spurious claims like that about anyone let alone CC who is already a legend. I doubt Kongo will even be a foot note in UFC history.
If you`ve ever seen his fight with Yvel you`ll see that he gassed in well under 2 rounds. Me thinks he might be the one sticking D Bol in his own ass.

 That lawsuit would be tossed out of court in about 5 minutes.
Bad stamina years ago is hardly a sign of steroid use, losing noticeable amounts of muscle mass and all desire to fight on the other hand...

Cro Cop said he had a deviated septum. I recently had septoplasty surgery to fix that same injury. I could see how that would severely effect stanima and ability to train. You can't breathe!
The surgery is pretty bad. I have been spitting blood, and throwing up blood. I am on Hyrdocodone pain medication.

Honestly, I dont believe none of that shit. He shouldn't have been fighting if he had that then.

Just don't forget he isn't out of the UFC for good. If he wins 3 fights, the UFC can call him back.

I have a feeling he wont be asked back after this situation.
And I do think the nose surgery was legit.

It was in his contract that if he lost x amout of fights he can leve the UFC. But if he wins X number of fights the UFC could ask him back. It's not like the UFC didn't know about that. If he wins some fights and gets that Buzz about him again, Dana isn't stupid and knows that a Cro-Cop can still pull in people and money.

If he loses, the UFC will probably cut him dry. If he wins 3 in a throw....the UFC expects him to come back?
Expect Mirko to fight a collection of cans in his tenure at DREAM, he won't want to risk that money and contract.

I had a deviated septum. It probably limits you about 35 %- 40 % in stanima. I also had inferior turbinate reduction, so my nose would drain properly, and I would stop getting chronic sinus infections.
Although, I have hard time buying that excuse for the Gonzaga fight. He only fought one round, and was ko'd by a kicked to the head. To me that looked like over-confidence and being careless, not worried about Gonzaga's stand up . Exactly what happend to Cro against Randlemen. I haven't seen the Kongo fight.
