So i went to my first boxing session last night.
The place was everything i wouldve expected.
Grimy walls, old gloves and heavy bags, Yellowy canvased ring.
I enjoyed it a lot.
Im sure if i didnt join ESB i wouldnt have known what to do and woulda stood clueless as after the trainer tells you to jog around the ring and go on heavy bag 4 rounds you do the stuff yourself.
Is it the same for you lot?
Do you just go in and do your own thing?
Are you on the Olympic Team yet?
Just kidding.
No, our training is very regimented by our coach. It's all in rounds but he tells us what to do each time. Some rounds are just freestyle on the bag or shadow boxing but he still tells us when to do it.

we get told what drills and rounds to do,its pretty strict but its probably best cos then in sparring you can tie it all together.

Any minute now RalphC is going to come in here and tell you to join a legitimate gym.
