The number of times they shouted out about great shots landed which were in fact taken on the arms, i wondered if these guys were watching the same fight !

Mario Lopez (AC Slater) isn't the best. Dougie Fisher was OK though.

These guys are all trash compared to the HBO team. A lot of people try to bag Jim Lampley, but fact is that is FAR AND AWAY the best commentator in the sport. Along with guys like Roy Jones and Manny Steward providing technical analysis, it totally blows away Showtime IMO. Not a big fan of Larry Merchant though to be perfectly honest.

Whenever theres a Top Rank fighter eg cotto pavlikwe get the Top Rank commentators i.e lopez and the others but when it isnt a Top Rank fighter most of the time we get Sheridan

to me the 4 commentators spent a whole hour talking non stop.

except for one insightfull comment from ray mancini about pavlik will not give it is all in the later rounds, they mostly talked drivel.

poor analysis/poor commentating/por colour men, in what was essentially a good fight with a lot going on, hardly anything they actually caught.
