Craig Christian told me Willie badly damaged his hand last week and will need surgery, it will take at least 6 months to heal and it is not guaranteed it will totally recover to box again.
Willie is a huge talent so lets hope it not as bad as they think

He will make a full recovery if he is meant to be boxing and has good support around him IMO.

i was syked to see kicket vs zappa i was sure there would be a k.o. in that fight.... this delays his career abit i think, now there is uncertainty in his hand, it breaks peoples confidence sometimes....

He is young and has time to recover he just needs to stick at it and not really let this worry him too much. If he rushes back then that maybe the end of him if he gets badly hurt during a fight.

Bad, bad news for young Willie.
Lucky he has time on his side, so there is no need to rush.

Kickett can't close his fist and might not be able to close it again due to the nature of his injury you dipshit, newspapers don't make up facts, they can bend the truth and mislead but this sort of thing is pretty clear cut.

William Kickett will fight again, he will just be out for a lengthy period of time to get it all sorted out.
Cant wait till he returns, plus he has age on his side so need to worry too much.

Hope he can make it back, this was starting to feel like Cliff Samardin all over again to me, in never seeing him reach his full potential.

Don't be so sensitive and angry against anyone who has an opinion about Green.

Are you Green?

If so stop being a cocky stiff trying to fight Jones jr with his walking stick and accept the fact you've never beat a live body and never will :thumbsup

This is terrible but this is boxing.

Hopefully its not as bad as it sounds.

It's worse.

Word is that the type of injury commonly re-occurs and it would most likely fail him, not during a fight, but under the constant pressure of training.

Should have drank more milk.

Where do you get this information?

I'd suggest that the Green camp know Kickett's a draw card and don't want to write him off until the last minute.

If he fights on the Green undercard then I'd be stunned. He would not be able to train for starters and risks permanent damage.

Do boxers punch sand and stuff like that? It sure makes your bones stronger?

Old asian body hardening exercises %100 work, so do any pro boxers do it? Could save the hand breaks.
