After eleven years serving as a deacon, Aaron Pryor became an Associate Minister at New Friendship Baptist Church under the direction of Rev. Dr. H.L. Harvey. Rev. Harvey is a nationally recognized minister and has been with Aaron all the way from the ring to the pulpit. Aaron & Rev. Harvey made many a ring entrace together during Aaron's championship days.

On Sunday, June 5, 2005, Aaron was officially installed as an Associate Minister at New Friendship Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio before an audience of church members, family & friends.
