being from nottingham i was jsut reading the local newspaper and fount out that carl froch next fight with dennis inkin will be on ITV so any brits out there who are fans?, who dislike him?, or have heard rumours and never seen him now have a chance to see him fight live. great news am i right?

Only ever seen him on youtube. I think he's worth watching if not likeable. The cockiness factor will make it worth tuning in: either you enjoy seeing a smart ass get his comeuppance, or the cockiness will make him perform to a genuine world class level.

He takes too many shots to land his Ko's though because he stays flat at times so he can throw full weight into the shots.

Is Froch approachable as a character? Does he treat his fans well?
This stuff is a factor for me. Maybe it shouldn't be but it is.
I've heard his Nottingham fan base is made up entirely of chavtastic types, fair or unfair?
Maybe I'm hoping to see Froch in a different light after the `ticket-gate` incident in Newbridge...

For me, the personality only maters if their skill doesn't warrant it. It pisses me off when people are cocky but they are no good.
