Next week, i had no idea, should have checked boxrec.

I had only been in Oz for a month or so, and got caught up with the hype, listened to a lot of pro-Green aussies and eventually told myself that Green would catch him at some point and put him to sleep.

I was living in Oz for over a year and whilst i loved it, i have to say the boxing coverage was pretty poor.

Did enjoy the NRL though :good

State of Origin. One of the best examples of Rugby League in the world, I wish the Super League would do something similar. As I live in old South Wales I support NSW.

State of Origin was much better 15 years ago. The refs used to let fights go, nowdays there isn't many punch up's in the games, and if there is, there will be binnings, and players placed on report.

I couldn't find the whole clip (the whole brawl went on for over 5 minutes) but here's a clip of probably the best fight/brawl in Origin. Hopoate's in it as well (he's a current Aussie Heavyweight).

Seriously though, when i was in Oz Mundine was not a popular guy with the aussies, is this still the case or has he started to get more support?

I found it pretty strange as the aussies were always loyal to there sportsmen or teams and supported them with pride but with Mundine, most i spoke to couldnt stand the guy.
