No, he REALLY needs to retire. . . .why ??
im sure there's plenty of bums holy can outbox with 1 hand right now and get an easy UD. but yeah his days to compete in top10 are gone.. i was praying not to see holy on his ass today, that would really make me feel bad. AN OLD WARRIOR !!!!!! he's definitely in my top10 heavys all time from now:yep

He's truly in remarkable shape, but there's really no point in hanging around.

I thought he should have retired after the Ruiz snoozers.

The fight could have been in Evander "Evan Fields" Holyfield's living room and he would have lost the decision.

He should have retired after pushing Lewis close in their rematch. After that he'd nothing left to prove and had faced the 3 best heavyweights of his era - Bowe, Tyson and Lewis

Holy should retire, he's proved he's a truly great champ a long time ago.
The fact that at 44 he can still go 12rds without looking bad with one of the top HWs today just shows what a great fighter he is. He was game in that fight, won three rds and was never in trouble, and that in his opponents backyard. And Ibragimov boxed very awkward, that was the smart thing to do for him, who knows how the fight had ended if Iggy had dared to take some risks and mix it up some more?

Jesus christ you are a moron. You are one of the biggest problems in boxing today, idiots supporting people like Holyfield who continue getting title shots.

Seriously Holyfield sucked and Sultan couldn't even put him away.

i thought holyfiled looked poor.

he simply could not pull the trigger.holy still has his reflexes, he was in there with a swarmer style fightter, dancing around for 12 rounds and making some SICKK counter shots showing good reflexes.. what do u expect man come on he is 45 years old !!

Holy fought a good fight but he couldn't keep up a fast pace after the first two rounds... I think he gets a lot of energy off him when falling in the distance, taking one to give one, and then spends almost half of the round waiting for another energy burst... He has a good chin and great heart but physically he can't do it any more - Iggy was not particularly busy with leads or counters but still won 9 rounds... Props to Vander for finishing with late surges and two big right hands tho.
