Seriously. Did I just actually witness that fight? Or did I doze off and have a horrible nightmare? Are Vlad and Sultan friends? Were both of Vlad's arms broken? Is there some behind the scenes explanation for why Vlad didn't kill that guy? He threw five right hands all night and Sultan did not land one punch. I don't care what Compubox said. He did not land one punch. And then they interview Vlad afterwards and he basically says, "Sorry. I could have knocked him out at any time. I just didn't. I will knock everyone else out." Does anybody think that fight was fixed?

 Inspector! Why, you have uncovered something here! Yeah in case you failed to notice. :hey
Yeah these guys looked like they didnt want to hurt each other looked like two friends having a sparring match. I was dissapointed cuz we got competition from MMA and this makes boxing look bad.

According to those who are "true fans of the sweet science" it was a boxing masterclass and a great performance by Wlad.

Wlad usually isn't so terribly boring, he usually looks quite good nowadays, but the only thing you can praise about that fight was that Wlad unified, and hopefully, with that out of the way, he'll be more impressive in defending.

....What?

Austin actually hurt Ibragimov and dropped him, HARD.

I saw some right hands land for Waldo, but suffice to say, none such as Rainman's lone right hand.

Is Waldo's power overrated? Hmm... one has to wonder!

Boring ass fight.

I was expecting a good tactical match up to at least make it interesting.
All that Klit did was use his reach and size to keep Ibragimov off him, and thats about it. What a low.

Looked like Ibragimov was working mitts for about 60-70% of the fight...

That knockdown should've counted since the ropes held Sultan up.

Hint, watch the tape then comment.

So you didn't see the fight then? I didn't think so...............

Sultan was hit with 2 right hands and his ass bounced off the ropes and he held on for dear life. It shoudl've been ruled a knockdown.

..Wlad was pitiful. The sultan was pitiful. the referee was pitiful. the announcing was pitiful. giving recognition to the ibo and wbo was pitiful. anyone who says something positive about wlad after seeing him this often is pitiful.

Sultan should have been ruled down but he wasn't hurt.

Wlad's power isn't overrated...the need for him to use it last night just wasn't there.

Wlad has excellent tools but I still question his intangibles. Luckily for him, there aren't many HW's out there that can match him physically. In scenarios where he outsizes the guy, he can play the game he played last night. Kind of like a grown man palming a childs head and hold him away as he wears himself out. I do have to say, though, that I'd be 100% confident in Wlad against a guy that can force him to fight.
