and whats up with their featured article about the Top 10 rivalries? It only allows you to see no.10. Surely they are not making you subscribe to a mag(Vogue) to see it. Tasteless clicky!

Dan Rafael's article says 'Dr Snooze-hammer'

This fight was supposed to restore credibility the the heavyweights...
all you people defending this embarrassment as a 'flawless' Klitchko performance need to understand that there was more at stake than just 2 belts. Alot of people were tunning in to finally watch a dominant heavyweight champion emerge, instead we got one of the worst crapola of a fight in years.

It was up to wlad to make heavyweight boxing exciting again for the casual fan, and he failed miserably.

“He’s so fearful of his chin that he fights a completely defensive fight,” Arum said. “He’s very athletic, no question about it. And he punches like a mule. There’s no question about that, either. But he’s so afraid to get hit on the chin that he doesn’t really compete vigorously. He only goes after his opponent when there is no chance the opponent can nail him.

“He was in today with a guy he really shouldn’t have been in with, a guy who really had no chance against him. And (Klitschko) was so fearful, that he made it a really boring fight, in my opinion.”

if it aint tysonlike it aint interesting.:-( Well if ppl dont like the more sensible type of boxing nowadays i doubt boxing is going to take off because the boxers nowadays are more cautious i guess. If fans want boxers to take more risk dont abandon them when they lose a fight.
i dont think so, there are plenty of sluggers out there today who make for exciting fights, how can you be defending this disgrace from last night

BHOP is more exciting than this

Only insane Klitshcko nuthuggers are defending this.

Anyone with an iota of objectivity has panned this. This was a unification fight, had huge publicity, fought at the Mecca of boxing. Expensive tickets, lots of casual/borderline fans watching on HBO. And they get a 12 round waltz between an overmatched guy there for the money and a coward.
