NEW Aussie Boxing Tipping Comp

Im happy to take on the boxing comp, but id like to change up the scoring a little if i was to do it.



Also, im seeing a few boxing betting tips in this thread, good idea, im always happy to chat betting.

I got on K Holt vs Hopkins at $1.70, i thought that was easy money.

The over 9.5 was a solid bet on Giant vs Holy, i should have had a go at that.

Ok, I'll do the scoring until the end of this season since there are only 2 rounds left, christmas time is here and im still buzzing over the excel sheet i made.

But for the next comp i wont have time as there will be a load of work in Jan/Feb for me and Ill be working a lot of overtime for it.

Also, im not sure how you did it in the past thirdgeary, but if a tipper didnt tip, i gave them the same as the lowest tipper for that round. let me know if this is not the case.

i still think its fair. if u miss a week there should be a small penalty. getting an average score would be quite generous considering there is a roundabout 50/50 chance that you might score below average....

Nate did not "screw up". His weight was on target the entire camp. He came into fight week at 139, which is right where he is supposed to be (actually, he usually begins fight week at 140-141). However, on Wednesday and Thursday, when he typically drops the last 2-3 pounds, it simply wouldnt come off. It certainly wasnt for a lack of effort on Nate's part. He spent almost 4 hours yesterday in the steam room at Bally's, only to lose 1/4 pound. And all day today was spent trying to take off those last 3. At 36 though, his body simply said "thats it".

Nate will never attempt to make 135 again, even though there is still the possibility of getting the Barerra-Khan winner, or Marquez or something. His body just wont do it. After this fight, he is moving to 140, and there will be no future attempts to make 135, because going into a situation like that knowing full well that weight could be a problem would be disrespectful to the fans, the opponent, the promoter, and the network. This isnt like the Guzman situation. Guzman can make 135, and he just did recently. And Nate's biggest gripe with Guzman wasnt that he didnt make weight, it was that he wouldnt still fight over the weight.

Nate feels terrible that this occurred. We knew that going to 140 was inevitable, but he really thought he had 3 or 4 more fights before that move would be necessary. Thats not how it played out though. Mother Nature has her own schedule, and she doesnt really care what your own plans are.

But the fight is still on, and then Nate will be campaigning at 140. I know the haters will get a big laugh out of all this, but once Nate starts collecting belts at 140 we will see who's laughing then.

Nate and his manager are full of BS. For the Diaz fight he made weight easy and entered the ring at only 139. He will be very easily beaten by the top 4 or 5 guys at 140. He is done.

Yeah good points. Other than the Diaz fight (which was a great performance) Campbell was just a contender/gatekeeper.Someone who was KO'd by Peden twice. Imo he will do nothing at 140. Hatton, Torres, Holt, Bradley and maybe some others would all beat him.

I agree regarding Cintron. I won't pick him again either. He is a shit fighter with a huge punch. He hasn't ever beaten anyone of any note in his whole career and now that he is fighting bigger men i don't see him beating anyone good.

What happens in the predictor league regarding split or majority decisions. For example if a fight is won by scores 113-113, 118-110, 116-111 and you pick points wide will you get the full points in the predictor league or will you just get the points for picking the correct winner. Am i making sense.
