Kessler. Come on - you know it...:yep

I would STILL probably pick Hopkins to do it.

Winky has a shot.

That's it though, unless you want to start talking about heavyweights.

I think you should have said who out there BESIDES kessler could beat him, because this thread is going to be bombared with people saying kessler and then it'll degenerate to yet another kessler vs JC thread...

The only thing that gives anyone any hope against Joe is Joe's age and maybe, just maybe his reflexes may be slower next time he fights.

Nobody at 175 or below.

The Calzaghe-nuthuggers need to be realistic, he is getting older...his reflexes might be ready to go...he'll be dropping from the top spot of the pound-for-pound ratings very soon.

This is going to sound ludicrous, but I think PBF could beat him. I'd give him a much better chance against the faster, bigger Calzaghe than against a guy like Taylor.

Surely you jest.

Neither one would have a prayer.

Kessler's the only one who could make it interesting.

Hopkins isn't busy enough to beat Calzaghe anymore.

:patsch .............. Kessler has the best chance but he'll loose in a few mnths time..............Bernard wont be able to live with Joe's workrate these days & I personally think JC will take winky apart...........other than that...nice list...........

At 168 currently only Kessler c beat Calzaghe, no other sm comes close. Bhop vs Calzaghe could be good and JC against most top light heavies would be pretty damm cool as well. Of the lower weight classes I can not see many problems, I would like to see how Pavlik fairs againsta mw champion before considering him against jc but that fight could be very good too.

:good At 168? Maybe Kessler.

At 175...Dawson.

Kessler is the only one from 160-175 with the skills to even pressure JC

The rest are either too old, too young or just plain not good enough.

Kessler is the only one with a genuine chance imo....but I dont think he is good enough

Bhop and winky would get beaten, as Calzaghe is too quick and concussive.

Jermaine Taylor would get exposed.

Maybe some of the light heavies would give him a run for his money.

Winky Wright, Mikkel Kessler and Chad Dawson.

1. Kessler
2. Dawson
3. Hopkins
4. Mundine
5. Winky

I'll agree with those as the possible fighters out there in and around Calzaghe's weight class that realistically COULD beat him (Don't know about the order. Maybe Winky above Mundine).

Don't know about Bute yet personally for me.

At 175...Dawson.

I agree with this. Unless Kessler was to age dramatically, he has the beating of both Hopkins and Winky at the moment.
