I havent seen the fight yet, and when i read this post i thought no way, but after seeing the pics....wow Vazquez looks really hurt. But i cant see him giving up now, he will chase a big money fight if he can before retirement.

I didnt score it but it Marquez won most of the early rounds and Vazquez the later rounds. Marquez also had a point taken off for low blows. The 12th round was enough for me to give the fight to Vazquez though.

Yeah for me i just dont see how it can get any better for IZZY, he finished off a great trilogy with one of the best fights ever.
I dont see how anything could top this for him, he should go sit back and just chill.
The end of the fight reminded me of Meldrick Taylor vs JCC1.
But honestly i would like to see him fight again.

I think he will take 6-12 months off, and move up in weight, he has said before he wants to be a world champ in two weight classes.

Finally got full speed back today and watched this fight...

FUCK A DUCK.

Marquez fought such a great fight. I think he mastered his plan better than Vazquez did. He just couldn't risk making the big shots and stayed outside as he knew he had to... Such a good fighter though. He didn't lose that fight at all, he purely had it stolen from him by the ultimate fucking warrior...

Vazquez... my god. That is how you fight a championship round! What a fucking legend to be able to do that after 12 hard ass rounds of 50/50 slaying. He lost the first 4 and wasn't deterred. The dude should be eating grapes on mount olympus with Hercules and Zues... Hell so should Marquez but he just got ousted by a brutal fighting machine.
