View Full Version : Ouch my right hand kills!!!
My right hand is killing. In sparring i hit the guy i was sparring with on the forehead with a hard right hand and as soon as i took my wraps off i felt pain.My knuckles are swolen and hurt when i punch is there anything i can do to prevent this hapening again ie wrap my hands in a certain way and also hw long wil the pain take to go i have never had any hand trouble like this before.

Invest in Winning gloves, well worth it. Sometimes wraps aren't enough, you need to tape as well. Depends on how hard you hit.
cheers mate i may do that as i have being wrappin my hands very heavily the last 6months or so and i feel my knuckles come thru the gloves when i punch still i use twins at the moment.hw muhc are winning

I blew a paycheck to buy some winning gloves. It is probably the smartest thing i have invested in my training equipment. They are well worth it and will last like a lifetime not like those 30 buck gloves you buy at sports authority. My gloves have been through hell and look new and protect my hands very well. I recommend them.
are there any cheaper options for gloves that still offer good protection as twins do seem to be a bit crappy

Are your fingers moving okay etc? Is there any possibility you may have a fracture? If you leave these things, they can come back to haunt you

Do you use them for bag work or sparring? Or both?
I seriously considering purchasing them?
Which gloves do you have?

Gio Rez i bought the velcro 16 oz gloves and i use them for bag work and sparring. If you have the money buy 16 oz gloves for bag work and another 16 oz for sparring but i have used the same pair for bag work and sparring and they feel and look like brand new. I bought the velcro hook and loop but the lace up are even better. I recommend either one man you cant go wrong with these gloves.
