Margarito isn't a boxer, he is a walk forward banger. The "sweet science" is more about the art of angles and movement.

I prefer boxers to bangers, but they are both style's in boxing and I've enjoyed fighters from both styles. It really comes down to the fighter and how they behave that matters most and makes them entertaining.
