Like composite punching?

Taking into account speed, timing, combinations, angles, power etc et etc?

Not even in the top 15, HW.

P4P, Langford, Louis, Robinson, Burley and many other completely bury him.

I concede my original claim that Foreman was the " greatest puncher of all time ", and have since changed the title of the thread to " My favorite of all time". Louis was the best heavyweight puncher from a technical standpoint. Few even come close to this feat. He was far more accurate and a much larger tool box of punches.

Foreman was probably the most destructive though in my opinion, and again, my favorite.

Fair enough.

I try to be as impartial as I can when rating or evaluating fighers. I admit though, that Foreman is one of the few fighers, that I have a bit more liking towards. I miss him now that he's gone. His character, sense of humor, and of course his exciting fights in the ring are something that I will reflect on for many years to come.

My personal favorite punchers:

Louis
Robinson
Arguello
Tyson
Julian Jackson (shame on you all for not mentioning him before)
George Foreman

Mike Tyson had that "Goddamn" factor.

That is true. Part of that was the level of competition. But not too big of a part.
