Just had a look at the ticket agency site. They are proposing to charge a 10% 'handling fee' plus £5 per ticket 'booking fee'. So on a face value £500 ringside seat it will cost £555!! A couple of quid per ticket booking fee I could understand but this has 'rip off you suckers' written all over it.

The ticket prices are £500,£400,£300,£200,£100,£50,£40.

Furthermore there is no indication of where each category is situated in the stadium!! I don't know about anyone else, but if going to spend £400-£600 on a pair of ticket I'd like to know what area of the ground I'll be sitting!!

I have posted a comment on ******'s website and included my email and have requested a response to both the above.Suggest others who agree with me do the same.

Probably Palle's fault wanting a too much of a big payday for both!

I wasn't refering to the actual ticket prices. I understand they will be expensive. I'm talking about a £50 handling charge on a single ringside ticket,ie 10% of the face value

This fight has no major mainstream appeal.

I asked ****** the same question.

Am currently awaiting reply:-)

It seems fair enough to me that one ought to see where the seats are, before spending 300 quid:-)

Looking forward to drinking a pint with you all in Cardiff:-)

It's going to be on Setanta, the first fight I think of their new deal with ******. So that's goodbye to free-to-view boxing yet again. They're a subscription channel, available on Freeview (with a little card), cable, satellite, or online. It costs around £10-15 per month, which tempted me when they showed Hatton-Castillo, but is certainly too much to watch just ****** fights, unless he coughs up for some more interesting fighters like Haye or some foreigners.

They have a deal with sports academy as well. They also bought the rights for Cotto-Judah which is a good sign. Also ****** now has a deal with both Setanta and ITV, ITV are going to keep showing Kahn so it's not the end of free to view boxing. And £10 a month for setanta which includes premiership football among other sports is actually cheap especially if you get it through sky as that gets you 8 soon to be 9 channels. Setanta will be showing more than just ****** fights it isn't an exclusive deal.
