View Full Version : How Many Fighters Do You Rate as Fighting Better P4P Than Pac
Note that this is not a P4P discussion, because he is the clear #2 or #3 in that category.
How many fighters do you think are fighting at a higher level right now in their respective division.
I have:
Mayweather
Calzaghe
Cotto

Well...in fighting JMM twice in the last four years, for me, he's fought better p4p competition than anyone else, except for JMM himself.:p
p4p, Calzaghe, Cotto, Mayweather, haven't fought a p4p Top 5 twice in the last four years, have they?:think

My question is, who is fighting at a higher level? How many fighters in boxing do you believe are fighting at a higher level than him?

You mean, who is better than him (p4p)?
Hmmm...JMM, Calzaghe, Mayweather...
Cotto has never faced someone as good as JMM so it's unfair to compare...neither has Guzman...let's see him against JMM first, before deciding...neither has Mijares...too early to say for sure...

You are correct about that. This is a type of judgement in which you have to trust what you are seeing moreso than judge level of competition. Its a tricky one.

Yeah...of course...still...Cotto's domination of his better opponents hasn't been so complete as to cut the mustard convincingly for me that he was better than Pac was against JMM, who, after all, also had the perfect style to beat him...

:huh A fighter is only going to look as good as his competition will allow.
Yall's clinging to Floyd is equivalent to Michael Jackson's last groupies:-(
