That this is a match that is the real deal
The top guys in their division, both at their peak, may the best man win.

i think calz is a bit past his peak, but that is something that is what it is.
Possibly a little bit. But still formidible.
Kessler should get full credit if he wins.

exactly, for me this is one of those fights where whoever wins should get full credit.
Neither fighters has many negatives that could be used as excuses if they lose
fingers crossed it defintely goes ahead

I remember in the old ESB board I posted a similar thread like this leading to the MAB-Pac match, where everybody was picking MAB to win over Pac.
I said that if Pac wins, he should get full credit in the same way that Joe Frazier attained greatness when he beat Ali.
After the fight, excuses for MAB flooded, He was shot, he was distracted by the fire in his training camp, he underestimated Pac, he had an off night, etc, etc :patsch :patsch
Anyway about this fight, I think Calzaghe is very slightly off his peak, but can stil be considered within his prime. Kessler is at this peak prime. NO EXCUSES.
I am picking Calzaghe to bloody Kessler's face en route to a UD or late TKO.

There will be no excuses for either of the fighters. If the fight is totally close and ends with a split decision we can always talk about a second fight.
Anyway - maybe MK will look bloody during the fight, but JC will be floored more than 1 time. Wait and see.
