View Full Version : Honest Question: Does Haye Moving to Heavy Excite You More Than The Division Itself?
This may seem unreasonable, but I honestly feel more excited about Haye moving to heavy (and talking plenty of good shit while he is at it) than I do about any other happenings in the division.
It reminds me of Toney a few years back. I love the verbal assault on the heavies, and his willingness to fight bigger men while displaying the potential of a highly skilled smaller man.
I'm thrilled he is moving up. I feel that the entire division is too complacent. He has personality and I am looking forward to it no matter the result.

Not very good options there. Its either you think that he is the most exciting thing, or it dont matter. I think that its in the middle somewhere. I think that Haye could beat alot of todays Heavyweights. Not sure about the very top one, if there is such a thing today.

Basicaly, its whether you think the division is so bad that the most exciting thing about it is your intrigue for how well he can do. I honestly feel this way.

I honestly feel this way.I dont think that he would make it more exciting because he wont every beat a top heavyweight. Sure he could pick the right fight and win, but if he is going to make a difference then he has to fight the top guys and beat them. I just dont think that he can beat many of the top guys. A couple yes. Maybe some of the smaller guys that dont it as hard. His Talent and skill would get him by. but the big bangers??? I just dont see it.

The reality is that my questione really is this simple. I couldn't complicate it if I wanted to.

Yes. Any new blood is a good thing. Even if he gets starched by the first decent HW he faces.

I agree with you. I would like him to clean house, yet I know it won't happen.

I feel excitement in the fact that Haye will get KTFO by any top HW. Id love to see Peter vs Haye.
I'll take the unofficial #3 - The heavyweight division is not exciting and Haye does not help.

It does not matter about where Haye is from, it is the prejudice, not provincial, which is where all the hype is coming from. Since when does beating a cruiserweight make a boxer the mandatory for the heavyweight champions?

Needs another option
C) Neither Haye nor the division is exciting.

I think he can improve the struggling division, but will certainly not be the savior. He has the tools, looks, and fighting stlye to get peoples attention, but I'm afraid his chin will not hold up against the bigger bangers in the divsion, most Heavyweights felt his power before, he himself has not felt top Heavyweight power before.

that would be funny as hell but very disappointing. id like to see him do well and advance to fight the better guys like sultan, iggy, chagaev, peter, povetkin. he will produce some exctiting fights

When will Haye start fighting heavyweights?Better question is when will you make a post that adds something to the site. Instead of your babble.
Your distain for Haye only proves what I have been saying about you all this time. Haye is European, yet you still dislike him. Witter is European and you dislike him. HMMM I wonder why:roll:

same here
The possibility of Povetkin vs Klitschko is still the most exciting thing about the HW division for me, but Haye coming up is probably second. It will be very interesting to see if he has a glass chin or if the chin he had at CW was a case of Cotto-syndrome.
