According to boxrec Firat Arslan' s next world title challenger will be...........Darnell Wilson who now and then posts on the main forum.
:DI guess that I will have to root for Wilson in order to support our esb forum.
Go,Darnell,go!

Good match IMO.Arslan is feather fisted but his chin is one of the best out there and his stamina is just amazing.Wilson can bang and doesnt run circles around his foes.Neither is Arslan is runner.Quite the opposite Arslan allows his opponentes to take a short breather during a fight.
Arslan vs Wilson should be fun to watch.
Go,Darnell,go!

Good fight. Although Ding is very beatable by any one with movement he brings a good fight and an awesome punch. Anyone willing to fight Ding deserves respect, especially has alot of guys are only willing to fight powder puff punchers.

Arslan needs a good performance, a good win could make him a serious threat to the division. Ding is still looking for that title shot and this is a real must win.

Good look to my (almost) namesake.

P.S. I am glad it is not Arslan vs Zelenhoff. Arslen does not need that kind of danger.

I very much hope that this fight will really come off! To be honest I didnt think that Arslan would defend his title against such a tough opponent.I thought his management would sign someon like Kracik or Azzouzi for the Turk's voluntary defence of his world title.Props to Arslan for accepting such a tough challenge!
I always liked the Turk for his exciting style which is pure fun to watch!

Mayby Arslan's team have seen Wilson fight recently and thought he is worth the risk. Obviously there are still mighty easier opponents out there that Arslan could have faced but Ding seems to have put himself in the level below title contenders group. It is a great chance for the guy and with his punch he can always be dangerous.

How do you think Firat will take this fight if it is made? I can not see him wanting to go toe to toe but is he good enough to box his way through the fight?

Arslan will go toe to toe with his foe, dwilson.Thats the way he boxes inside a ring.He cant change his style. And why on earth should he anyway? He has been quite successful with his swarming relentless pressure style. He has an iron chin and his stamina is from another world.
Did you watch Arslan vs Drozd?
Drozd was the better fighter, had more pop in his fists, was the more versatile boxer, moved faster and quicker than Arslan. All in all Drozd played in another league in terms of natural skills and talent.Nevertheless,he lost his encounter with Arslan. Why?

Because he couldnt cope with Arslan's mental toughness, his neverending pressure, the merciless war of attrition. On paper Drozd was the huge favourite, but he didnt stick to his game plan.Instead he tried to duke it out with Arslan desperately trying to knock him out. What a stupid mistake it was!
Arslan's chin is excellent, and his stamina is that of a long distance runner.
Drozd wasted too much energy in the first 3 rounds, and then ran out of gas!
Even a big banger like Tokarev found himself in a death and life struggle with Arslan who hold the forth despite being under heavy fire constantly attacking his opponent making him tired looking for weaknesses taking advantage of his opponent's graveyard slots.

I very much hope that Wilson wont make the mistake to go for his opponents too early. To waste too much energy early in the fight against Arslan would be a deathly mistake. You cant compete with Arslan's stamina.
