At 190 ?

Cunningham. I really don't know about Calzaghe's speed, stamina, or chin at 190. I would assume Cunningham would beat him senseless.

Calzaghe all day. Cunningham is so average its unreal

If JC could carry his speed he'd tear Cunningham up

If Calzaghe is so good and is able to carry these skills to 190; then why has he been spending the last 10 years or so struggling to make 168 just to fight bums? How come he never moved to LHW?

calzaghe's movement would nullify everything he has to offer and would box his way to a UD.

Yes probably Cunningham ,but I've always wondered how Calzaghe would get on if he fought at the weight he walks around at.I think it would be a good fight.

USS would rip Calzaghe a new one far too big.

Calzaghe doesnt have the frame to carry 190lbs and beat Cunningham. He'd be a top 10 Cruiserweight at best IMO.

Christ that's an excellent post.

cunningham for sure. calzaghe is kinda smallish even by smw standards. i've seen his tale of the tape (chest, wrists, biceps), he is considerably smaller than me and i could easily make smw (i'm not a boxer though). cunningham has muscles that i didn't know they exist.

Cunningham is well muscled but an average boxer with serious limitations.

All this talk of him beating people is hilarious.

Cunningham is too big.

But I remember everyone talking about Lacy beating Calzaghe and saying things like `just look at their respective physiques...it's obvious who's gonnas win`.

It would be easier to list what are not his limitations.

cunningham is very well schooled, good counterpunching, great stamina, decent power. hard to imagine he owns a pizza place and still looks that ripped!

Fully agree, Cunningham is an elite, top 2 cruiserweight.

Too big, and with too much skill for such a big man, for Calzaghe to handle.

A good big man beats a good little man, although Flloyd did beat Oscar :huh.
I'd still pick USS to win though.

How about you just list 3 serious limitations

this is a dumb thread to make clazaghe look bad. and no i dont think he'd win against this cunnigham guy. take mayweather for example. the best boxer in the world if he goes up 2 weights to middle weight he'd get whooped and most likely even stopped, simply cuz he's too small. same with JC. frame is too small and crusier power is too much.

I didn't make this thread to make Calzaghe look bad.I'm Calzaghe fan.:patsch

Calzaghe should apologise to you for not being an african american.

Cunningham an elite fighter?

He's good, but he's far from what I'd call elite. And I fully agree he's too big for Calzaghe, that's obvious.

Clearly I wrote he was an elite Cruiserweight. I don't think there is a single Cruiser in the top 10 that matches up with USS skill-wise.

200 lb men aren't going to look like PBF in the ring.

Although I'd make Cunningham favorite. If Calzaghes chin holds up at the weight It would be a very winable fight IMHO.

I find him very beatable. Mormeck for instance, if he fights again, should be able to beat him.

Bell also.

Ok. If Calzaghe is so good and can carry his skills to 190, then why did he spend 10 years or so defending his WBO belt in a mediocre division instead of going to LHW?

He can go to 175 MAX, don't listen to anybody who suggests otherwise.

Even so, Cunningham is still a generic fighter who's nothing special, I admire his will to travel around and fight in other people's backyards, but he's very beatable, even at the poor Cruiserweight division.

Haye would KTFO Cunningham early.

Mormeck would either KO him mid rounds, or win a wide UD

Bell would KO him

I think he'd beat Adamek, by late stoppage.

I think he'd UD Ding.

There's 2 more I'd pick over him, can't think of them.

I agree. I think he can be an effective LHW. I just can't see him being the same fighter at 190

I somewhat agree. He doesn't do anything great, but he's very solid all around. I think he has good speed for a CW though. I like his body work as well

Haye would KTFO Cunningham early.

I disagree, but I'm biased.

Mormeck would either KO him mid rounds, or win a wide UD

I think Mormeck is done.

Bell would KO him

I disagree. He had his chance to fight Cunningham though. He passed on it, was stripped of his belt, and sat idle for 15 months because of an alleged toothache. If he beats Adamek, he'll get another chance

I think he'd beat Adamek, by late stoppage.

I haven't seen Adamek at cruiser yet.

I think he'd UD Ding.

I agree. I like Ding, but I don't see him getting past Cunningham at this point in his career.

Well, Wlodzarcyck already beat him in a close fight. I don't know who else you could be refering to that would beat Cunningham.
