A couple of guys at a gym i used to go to told me about Amir Khan getting put on his arse by a pissed up guy in a Bolton nightclub. Then the bouncers rushed the guy a chucked him out?
I have seen Khan around Bolton on a nightout and he comes across arrogant. Always driving around and around and around and around the town centre in his flash cars.

He does go to nightclubs in Bolton (im from Bolton) seen him a couple of times in Ikon and he is always in J2. Never walking around always in the 'vip' area which is just a little part of the club with a bit of rope around it:lol:
I know of people who have beaten him up in streetfights but that was way back at school, not recently.

Was this a prime Hamed? I suppose the guy was only 5'3'' and there are plenty of guys in clubs capable of destroying him.
I fancied my chances back in the day and remember shadow boxing at the thought just before his fight with Said Lawal. I pulled a muscle and Hamed virtually finished Lawal with his first punch

Except this is a really unbelievable rumour; I mean, if a mate of mine said he'd seen it with his own eyes, I'd still question whether he didn't confuse Haye with some other bloke...:think
Haye goes to town to pick up women and have a good time with his mates, not to look for trouble; he is too well-adjusted and secure, emotionally for that....and I'm sure it would have been all over the papers if this had happened to "playboy Haye" - must have been a more quiet, less profile guy...

Ah...sorry...I forgot about that bit; only problem with making it up is that he gave so few clues that would link Haye with the rumour that the whole rumour became pointless; on the other hand, if he had made it more specific and Haye would have become a suspect, he could have been sued for making liablous claims...

You're probably right. I don't think Haye would be sufficiently worried about it to sue for libel, though; he seems to have the edge in maturity on Frank.
I'm sure we can agree that Frank ******'s a complete tosspiece, regardless of who he was actually slagging off. Completely pointless thing to do.

When ****** announced this, it was in a week where Haye would have been training and in America. I doubt he'd have been in a club.

It's pointless for us to speculate; there aren't any clues.
If someone has seen it or trusts someone who has seen it, then let that person tell us, but that's as far as we'll ever get to knowing...
If no one has seen it or no one wants to tell or no one trusts those who claim they've seen it, well, that's the end of it.

If we are ruling out Woods because of his size (It would take a brave man to have a go at Sheffield's man of steel in a club) then surely we can rule out the bigger, more imposing Haye who could probably kill you with a stare.
I'm not going to speculate who it could be - even ****** himself said it was a rumour. It could just be that.
When I first heard the story though it did remind me of something I read about Maccarinelli - apparently he was involved in an altercation with a doorman at a nightclub in Swansea a few years back and one of them was knocked out!

I can tell you 100% the only guy to win any kind of fight agaisnt Hammed since he was 18 was Marco Antonio Barrera.
No Pro boxer would loose a fight against the average "hard nut". NO WAY NO CHANCE. As boxing fans you guys should realise how hard someone that has been taught how to punch properly and has taken a punch can hit and how hard they can be hit. Hammed would still crush 99.9% of people in a fight.

A funny a very true story about hamed, and i'm quite ashamed of it really........ i was walking down deansgate(manchester) with a friend of mine and he spotted hamed and his brother standing next to thier range rover giving it the big one. I went over to say hello and get my friend his autograph and when i nudged him on the shoulder he sais"who the fuck do you think your touching" i was surprised to say the least and said i didn't mean it and then his brother riath said "fuck off" i absolutely lost it and grabeed both by the throat and threatend to kill them and all that shit. I am very saddened by the way i acted but thats life. What makes it even worse is that i am coming back from a very bad shoulder injury and want to turn pro myself but i would never EVER act like that smug c*nt and his brother. This happend around a year a go by the way.
Last night Doc Brown came parked up outside my house in his De Loreon. We went forward to next Sunday and then traveled on hoverboards all the way to america to watch Wrestlemaina. During the match between Floyd Mayweather and the Big Show i ran in the ring, pulled down my pants, beat up the big show, then had a 15 round toe to toe battle with Floyd Money May which i won by split decision. Elvis, Jimmi Hendrix and Gary Glitter were in the audience, Gary performed that night and people loved it, his pretty big in America. Prince Hamed was a superb talent but some of his behaviour outside the ring leaves a lot to be desired.
I would have liked to have seen him show more remorse for his driving offences considering it was reported that he broke every major bone in one of his victims body and caused bruising to his brain leaving the guy unable to ever work again.

I have been to a specialist and he said it would never be the same again but that was 2 years ago and it has got a lot better. its only when i miss a punch (sparring, pads, bag) that it really hurts and also in the cold. I'm taking things slowly at the moment so who knows. Are you still at bobby rimmers? whats it like down their? I'm not training at the moment m8 so no i'm not down there unfortunately but if things change and I want to get back into it I wouldn't want to train anywhere else- it was fantastic! Where you from?

I dont really like armchair critic comment , if you have any ambition of being a pro boxer then you should realise its armchair fans like myself that pay the bills!!! and 95% of the guys on this forum are armchair fans.
with regards to your injury its all dependent on which muscles your have injured. if its the 2 lesser ones you should be ok, if its the 2 major muscles it could be bad. if its all 4 your pretty fucked. TBH the fact that you feel it when it gets cold is also a bad sign as it shows the muscle is weak. Theres all sorts of exercises that you can do to strenghtn the muscles again, I would not imagine that any form of boxing is good for it as that part of your body is a huge part of throwing a proper technincly perfect punch, lifting light weights and getting heavier is best. Although if it was 2 years ago i would imagine you are way ahead of that.
Im not docter though, i just read alot, Sports injuries are pretty fascinating.

Currently live in manchester, looking to either go to shannons or rimmers or maybe collyhurst. Why are you not training at the mo? Bobby has a smaller stable then Shannon or Collyhurst. If you impress there you'll have some good sparring and one to one tuition.. I'd recommend bobbys. Collyhurst is a gr8 gym too but I enjoyed Bobbys best.
even though i am 27 now i still think i can make an impact on the lhw scene in the uk and beyond.
Injury permitting, age shouldn't be a barrier to you turning pro - Gamboa only made his pro debut within the last 12 months and he will also be 27 this year!

you should take any story of a boxer involved in fights otuside the ring with a pinch of salt, i certianly do. just like I take storys of guys getting KO in sparring with a pinch of salt.

No no no no.
If you look at actual incidents where a civilian has got into a fight with a boxer as oposed to urban myths, you will see that whatever the weight diference, provided the boxer is under 80, it is short bloody and one sided in favour of the boxer. In my 6 years on the door I would say that 99.9% of street hardmen cannot fight with any degree of technique or real power they are useless- but there is the odd exception.... It was comical watching them walking into our club with invisible carpets under each arm giving us the hard man nod... We just knew they were going to kick off and when they did -oh dear they were nearly always rubbish.

That's true - i'm sure...But as per the original post on this 'sub-thread' - a bantam weight would get flattened imo by a lump with the criteria being ' all things being equal'...Boxers can dig and move but they are not Marvel comic characters!
There are exceptions to every rule - but i think the average bloke of proven 'hardness' ( a hardman - not a pissed up bloke with muscles and tattoos)- who has a good 10 stone weight advantage will batter the smaller bloke boxer or not.

Its a pointless argument as there are too many intangibles. Street fights even 'straighteners' rarely last beyond the initial contact and if they do they usually end up on the floor. Its usually who gets there first. 9 times out of 10 a decent boxer should be able to be fast and sharp enough to pick a big punch for the first contact- If it ends up on the floor he's fucked unless he can use his agility, concentration and fitness to maneuver into a more dominant position. All in all its a stupid debate as it really depends on the practitioners involved.

Great! I'll bear that in mind next time I go for an uncomplicated night out with the girls - be wary of guys posing as gays and making moves on us unsuspecting females!

Problem is if you were too convincing you wouldn't have as much success at pulling (a female anyway)!

Seriously mate if you pick a 220 lb non boxer, even one who knows how to fight the bantemweight will destroy him 9 times out of 10.
I know a fellow who was in the army and he told me about an ocasion where a 220 lb military policeman got into a fight with a UK grade bantemweight and got utterly destroyed.

I disagree with the 9 out of 10 bit.
As said - it is subjective and silly really .. I have an anecdote that completely turns your statement on its head involving an Irish Light Heavy but that is the point really - maybe mine is the 1 in 10 - maybe yours is.
IMO though - surreal Deal's original post in this thread is what i agree with - " All things being equal, he doesn't hit like a girl etc" the MUCH larger man beats the bantamweight.
Just my opinion :good

I get the idea that the anecdotes where the bantemweight sparks the 220lb man are generaly better substantiated than the anecdotes where Marvin Hagler gets knocked out by the bell boy.

If you're asking me to substantiate the aforementioned anecdote - i could - but over PM - two boxers were involved, one well known by British boxing fans, one by Irish boxing fans.
I'm not naming them nor going into sordid details about a fight in a backstreet pub on a public forum - even if it was in 1990.
