ahh do not listen to them Paul has a good shot at winning this fight.MArg is one of the most overated fighters ever man and he look like crap in last outing. Until he beats a good oppent I will not expect him to do anything.I mean he has got 4 losses he is not the man that everyone thinks he is.He is a solid fighter but not The fighter eveyone on this board thinks he is.

I agree that he is a solid fighter and not the boxer everyone thinks he is, but there's no shame in having four losses. On four nights out of 40 someone else was the better man. If it was ten losses, that'd be different, but there's way too much stigma attached here to having a couple of losses.

Agreed. Losing can make a fighter better, depending on how he reacts. It's all about mental strength and attitude. Losing to Carl Thompson is the best thing that ever happened to David Haye for example.

Margarito/Williams is a pick em fight because neither guy is a top class fighter, depends on Williams' ability to take Margarito's arm punches really.

He could very well win this one, where as your pick for Brewster was just hopeful/insanity. The odds aren't great as Williams is at evens, but the pick of Williams itself is a very fair pick.

Odds don't matter, the pick matters. I had 500$ on Wladimir by stoppage at 1/2 odds, on which I made 250$, the odds of 1/2 are punishing, but I made 250, where as you lost a bundle. Just remember that one Champs! It's about the pick!

You'll do better in the future.

Margo's last outing was against a guy who would give ANYBODY at 147 a hard time, yet Margo still won. And please dont go into the whole story about how Clottey broke his hand, because it is not true. In the pre-fight interview with Clottey for the Coralles (r.i.p) bout, Clottey said that it wasnt broken. He said that he brusied his knuckle fighting Margo.

Yes, a big WW who can't stop a shot, chinny Corrales jumping up 2 divisions, a big WW whom also struggles with journeyman level Guttierez and barely gets an MD win.

Give me a break.

I know its a pick' em and Im only picking Margarito to win because hes the only guy out of the two that Ive seen fight, and my Brewster pick was honestly down to him having all the tools and the style to lay an ass whooping on Wlad not just a guess. I was wrong but I assure you I wouldnt risk $300 on a hopefull bet. Lamon had a good chin, good stamina, power and can be a pressure fighter, no other guy in the division has all these abilities and you need all of these to beat Wlad if you ask me.

yeah I totally think he is a good fighter but the way people talk on here he is the best boxer in the world blah blah and he would destroy floyd.I do not care for Floyd but he would make him look silly. The whole floyd ducking him crap was insane.I dislike the guy but I am not gonna sit here and say he is not the P4P best right now. I think people on here have to judge fighters within reason and not just think someone is gonna destroy someone cause they are there fav fighter.I try to look at each fight differently. I am not always right but I am not biased.

You overlooked the fact that Lamon was outboxed by Etienne and Shufford early in his career, barely got a win over journeyman Meehan and was beaten to a pulp by fringe contender Sergei Liakhovich(I picked Sergei to win that one BTW, judging how Meehan gave Brewster a good run for his money).

Brewster's always been overrated because his Homer Simpson style of taking a beating and then KOing a totally gassed opponent is exciting to most casual fans... worked against a Klitschko with a wrong gameplan and a fringe contender Krasniqi, also he blew out Golota(which was a fair win, I'll give him that) and people think he's some world beater....

Not me, I always was telling the real deal about Brewster, and picking him over Klit(who's at the top of his game now) is HOPEFUL at best.

At 5-2 odds, it's not a bad decision. I just worry about his chin, if he can't take a punch then he won't win, because he has 0 defence and Margarito will land some of those sloppily thrown punches.

You have a 50-50 chance of that bet ending up great or ending up real bad. If I had to put money on it, I'd go with Margarito.

I got 200 on Williams against the overrated Margarito who got lucky that Clottey broke his hand or he would have 5 losses now.
