Ten rounds at heavyweight. How would Foster do against the 'hot and cold' Satterfield?

Whoever gets off the first shot!
I would pick Foster as being slightly more durable, but this is a tough one. Foster flopped against bigger men throughout his career, while Satterfield seemed to do better as the size of his opponents increased.
I would pick Satterfield at heavyweight.

I'll go for Sattefield he beat some good Heavies and Foster never did, both could be kod ,but Satterfield was naturally bigger and as hard hitting.

I would go for Satterfield as he is better proven at heavyweight and to my mind took and recovered from better punches at heavyweight.

Satterfield would be a verry interesting fighter to bring back to today.
Early in his career he would be able to sweat down to the super middleweight and light heavyweight limits. He would eventualy fill out into a cruiseweight and given his power it is likley that he would step up to heavyweight to go after the big game. I suspect he would hold straps in multiple divisions.

Foster wins by KO, in my opinion. Both can bang, but Foster has a style that could prove troublesome for Satterfield. It would be close though; Foster's poor defense and Satterfield's crippling power would almost always guarantee that. I wouldn't be in the least bit shocked if the opposite were to occur.
The weight, for me, is a non-issue. I don't think Foster's poor showings in heavyweight would bear any significance in a bout with Bob Satterfield.

I note with interest that this fight is at heavyweight.
That favours Satterfield since there is no reason why it couldnt be held at light heavyweight which might neutralise some of his advantages. Satterfield clearly made the transition better.

Good point Janitor.
It's a hard fight to handicap at either weight. I believe Foster would hold the advantage at light heavy, while I lean towards Satterfield at heavy.
