Groin Guard questions

I need a guard that is USA Boxing approved and i'm looking at these Top Contender ones and they're alot cheaper than the rest. I have to wonder why. Is Top Contender a good brand, or no?

I was looking at this one for $30.

i got the 19.99 title one that is usa approved. first got it in a M tried it on and it was too big, sent it back got a S... shit is still a little too big. not sure if they sell kids L or what. guess my waist is smaller than 27" if thats possible.
