Haven't seen you in a while it seems. Have you been able to find any footage at all of this Lockett fellow?? It's much easier when you know something about who the opponent is, other than he has a good record.

I've been laying kinda low lately. Mid-life crisis! Sick rabbit has got us worried. Threat of getting laid off, shit at work is so slow. Spending $$$ like crazy. $1800 for a new fence for our house...too much crap going on.

Anyway, I was thinking the same thing about wanting to see some video on Lockett. Have to search around.

Sorry to hear that, but I've got to say me too.:-( I have a small plumbing (pipe wrench, eh?) and HVAC business and have pretty much always done new construction, not at all ever rich, but never up all damned night worrying either. Bottom is dropping out.

I had to google Lockett the other day just to see what he looked like.

I never heard of lockett but I don't give him much of a chance ... i'm standing by what I said before ... I don't see Pavlik losing at 160 and until he moves up he will remain champion.

If you've ever heard Locket speak you'll know there there's nothing scary about him. A polite well spoken Welshman!:D
Haven't seen any footage of Locket fighting myself, probably your best bet is to go over to the Brit forum and ask a few of the guys there. Seans probably the most knowlegeable poster there.

His fists are huge, esp. for a MW. A while back somebody gave the measurements and compared with a lot of HW's Kp's fists were bigger.

And agreed on the Lockett part, he does not look like one to be trifled with (although I imagine Pavlik will make short work of him)

You are always overly critical of Pavs and I believe you are threatened by him. However, you are spot on here, Pavlik looks like he's on queer street without even taking a punch.

Oh come on man, the color in the face and jsut around the eyes (not the eyebrows), he's definitely wearing makeup. I'm not saying it to knock him--I really like him--and I'm sure that it wasn't his idea, but it's definitely happening.

Lockett seems to be perfectly aware that his chances of winning are slim, but wants to make the most of this opportunity. He is used to being the agressor in fights, but I think we can be fairly certain that he can't back Pavlik up. If Miranda and JT couldn't back Pavlik up, Lockett won't either. In addition, if Pavlik took Taylor and Miranda's best shots, he can probably eat Lockett's like they were Skittles!. So the question becomes; can a guy who is used to being the agressor win 7 rounds fighting off the back foot while avoiding Pavlik's jabs, his 1-2, and his lead right? I guess we'll find out on June 7th:yep

man too be honest pipe wrench ... this fight looks like an easy fight for Kelly and I don't mind because he deserves it ... no one in the division can beat this kid.

I don't say that about many people but he could have a long reign at middleweight if he chose to. your right he does deserve it and it does look easy but as pav said he was also where lockett is not too long ago and he will fight this like he was fighting taylor again....also i have too say taylor looked so good in that fight i have new respect for taylor as long as he is not fighting pav i will bet on him..
