Wayne "he's shot and shit" Braithwaite scored an impressive tko over the guy touted to dominate the division over the next few years Hernadez, and Hernandes is Cuban so he must be great.

Does this change anyones opinion of Enzo?

Not really, it just suggests his chin isn't that bad. Let's not forget Hernandez was totally outboxing him until the shot to the temple. Braithwaite has lost a lot of things, power isn't one of them

If anything, it just shows what a devastating puncher Haye is

I've always felt Enzo's UD over Braithwaite was very underrated on this forum.

Doubt it will change many people's opinions on this forum though so soon after the Haye fight.

Enzo is still a major player at CW, people are writing him off on the basis of 1 bad loss. Enzo handled Braithwaite well it's not like Braithwaite is an old man he was Champion a couple of years back.

Apparently Hernandez was well in control but got carried away and left himself open. The opposite of Maccarinelli who kept his discipline when he was bossing Braithwaite.

I had hoped big big things for Hernandez and although he showed himself up to be an idiot I still think he can achieve alot. Hopefully he can come back from this but his chin will make him another question mark.

I really enjoyed Enzo vs Wayne and thought the win was very good and dispelled most of the bullshit anti-welsh talk we got after. I know Braithwaite is not a super great fighter but Enzo's win now looks pretty impressive.

The Enzo win over Braithwaite should have been his chance of cementing himself in peoples opinions but the hard work that night got KTFO by the fights he took on after. Enzo would still have lost to Haye but now instead of him being classed unfairly as a bum and floundering journey man he would be considerd a decent punt to re take over the division. Especially after one the guys most likely to win the belts suffered a bad defeat last night.

I agree, Azzaoui was a backward step, I'm sure Frank ****** could have got him a better match up. If he'd beaten a better known ranked fighter and then got knocked out by Haye he wouldn't be getting written off like he is now.

Does this change anyones opinion of Enzo? No. Why does that type of maths make any sense? Wayne puts on a good performance but lets be real Wayne has seen better days that much is a fact. Even his tenure as WBC champ was questionable as the division at that time was painfully weak. The first time he really stepped it up he was shown to be nothing more than a blown up light heavy with fairly average power. His record of KO`s is quite decieving.

Hernandez has a dodgy chin. Even when he fough Azzaoui he was keeping his hands well high to protect his dodgy chin.

Last night WB managed to catch him and show that Hernandez is nothing but a gatekeeper.

As usual with these german based fighters the ref helped him up after the first knock down but luckily WB still stopped him to become the new WBC Latin American CHampion (or whatever the title was).

Pushes my opinion of Haye up even further. After all, he fucked Enzo up, didn't he?

doesn't really change my opinion of enzo. he still has to beat a top 5 cruiserweight to gain respect and if he manages to win a "world" title without beating a top 5 cruiserweight, it'll be back to being a paper champ.

this was a great win for braithewaite - did very well to come back from getting beaten up in the first round.

I'm not sure to be honest - WB was still coming off around 2 years absence when he fought Enzo.

So the 12 rounds were helpful to him for this fight and anyother after this.

It was a decent win for Enzo but no more than that.

Ive always thought Enzo was/is quality, shit i even picked him over Haye:oops:

The truth is in Enzo we have a top 3/5 cruiser, and in Haye we have a monster of a cruiser, who is head and shoulders above anyone currently at cruiser:good

Braithwaite is one of Enzo's opponents I don't have issue with.
In fact he should've been fighting more guys like that.

Azzaoui was a late replacement for Ezra Sellars!

Thats because the BBofC nixed the bout and wouldn't allow it to happen. To be honest it was shambolic and totally inappropriate that a veteran like that could be allowed to come out of retirement to fight Enzo when he hadn't fought in years. Its totally indicative of the way ****** spoon feeds his fighters.

Braithwaite was finished. Hernandez lost his head and shot himself in the foot. Braithwaite was experienced enough to take advantage of the huge, repeated mistakes and crazy gameplan of Hernandez. Let's not make out of this more than it's worth. Braithwaite would lose a wide decision in a rematch.

I really rated Hernandez before the Braithwaite loss. I believed him to be a futrure title holder of some degree and be a guy who could mix it up with the best at the weight. I know a step up to a guy like Braithwaite had a lot of risk and that this time it did not pay off for the young Cuban but I expect him to be back. His chin will always be a doubt though.

Personally I think my opinion of Enzo has gone up as a result of the fight, not by much but I now beleive Enzo is actually capable of winning a title at cruiser on credit rather than soft match making.

The only guys worth mentiong has top class are Cunningham, Alexeev and possibly Kraj, I hold little hope for the American prospects.

I was one of the posters here who always said Enzo Macs win over Braithwaite was a fine one, & he should have gotten more plaudits for it.

 Not only did he help him up, but he waited until he got back on his feet to start counting. He got 18 seconds in all and it's at 5.05 of this youtube vid.

To be fair to the ref though he did start the count at two rather than one. That more than balances out the eight seconds that had already elapsed while he was hauling Hernandez off the floor and helping him to balance.

Any one think that German commentators sound like they are having sex at the same time as they are commentating?

Braithwaite looked pretty decent still. I wonder where he can go from here, he must be somewhere in contention for an eliminator or within a few fights of a shot at the title?
