Was down at Scarborough (as I know Green's crew put him and the undercard up down there) with the Mrs this arvo hoping to see Green and actually bumped into Griffin! Was not as big as what he appears in pics etc I have seen so I am even more confident now that Green will do a god job on him!

Had a brief chat to Griffin and wished him all the best, he did seem pretty confident so could be a good one!

....but green also looks alot smaller in the real. looking forward to the fight though. I think a late tko for him or a SD loss.:think

Mundine looks tiny in person. But he eats like a horse. I stalk him all the time around the Boxa Cafe, but I cant work up the courage to ask him for his number. Its not so much Mundine I fear as that gaybikey guy that keeps sniffing around him.
Anyway, back to reality. Its not size that will trouble Green as we know. It is skill. If this guy has any, whcih I doubt, it will be close. Still think Green will win a 10 rounder though.

Im confident in a late green tko, however does anyone think that griffin may be able to dance around green for 12 rds to get a decision? Like he said, he's younger, never been ko'd according to boxrec and apparently an ex-nfl player? I'm sure green can deliver the ko we speak of though, best of luck.

Also the Sundaqy Telegraph article about Green today made me cry for the poor guy. It hurts him so much to have lost his career defining fight. Mundine has already done all that going back to basics and keeping it old school stuff.
And he says he is not the type for an entourage and bling. Thats because noone is interested enough to join the entourage and he cant afford bling. It stings him that Mundine is more entertaining, a better showman, and a better boxer.

I do reckon Green will have a tough fight though I havent seen very much of Griffin. Just one of his fights on the T.V show and some clips.

If Griffin's chin holds up it is going to be a good tussle for Green as I dont think he will bully this guy around. But it may crumble I dont really know.

Looking forward to it, I like the fights where your not to sure whats going to happen till the night but Im not expecting an easy night for Green.

I went to the Boxa Cafe once. I couldn't believe it was next door to the Ritz Hotel, Greens chums.

The kid that serves coffee there doesn't know how to make a good latte. I also wasn't much of a fan of the mugs. don't think i'll go back.

He has a site Sai, otisgriffin.com i think.
He has a couple of fights on there but I found them hard to watch because it would take a couple mins to load up for aout 15 secs of footage and my internet isnt slow.

Its not about getting a life Jabby, its about supporting boxing and choosing to support people who have talent. Danny doesnt have any talent and you keep supporting him. I give you credit for your loyalty, because deep down you know Green is never going to do anything special...consequently it is very important to you that Green is such a top bloke. Mundine still has some chance of success, so really I dont give a toss about his charity work.
Your racist remarks are beneith Green. Although...

Hes a really limited fighter true, but he does a lot for the community and he doesnt run his mouth off about being fucking awesome while fighting dodgy South American primary school teachers that take him the distance... personally im a big fan of fighters who have some humility, but its really a personal preference thing

The day when Mundine finally grows a pair and again fights someone who isnt shite is going to be a very happy one for me, I may even go take him some grapes.

im pretty confident Green will win. His Jab is way to good for Griffin and he is going to eat it all night long.

infact i think Green may stop Otis in around the 9 round mark.

These louzy slobs bringing Mundine into this. Piss off will you.
I think Green will be too strong for this guy who I am sure has a lot of heart but little skill. Danny likes em that way. Tremendous community work, if only that loud mouth would do some charity work.

Explain your pick a bit mate, im wondering why you would pick Griffen?

im going to take green by ko in less than 7. Griffin's only chance is to stick and move - he doesnt appear to have alot of ko power and danny has a great chin. If he can frustrate Green it will be alot more competitive however

I won $50 ($20@ 2.50) betting on Gomez to beat Gatti though I didnt pick it.Gomez to win in the 7th was paying $26, would have been great to be in on that.
Griffin is paying $6 for a decision win, so I put a lobster on him.

Amonsot is paying $8 in some places for the win.

Danny will keep Griffin at distance with his jab and Griffin will get frustrated around the middle stages and make the mistake of coming after Danny with big loping wide shots and Danny will slam one straight down his throte for a KO.
Well thats what I think any way.
We will just have to wait and see tonight.
