I seem to get abrasions in my upper inner thighs from running. I guess its called chafing. Anyone else have this problem? If so, what do you do to treat it?

..............Yes; Couple things you can do. Buy something called Bodyglide at a sporting goods or running specialty shop. It looks like a stick deodorant container, and feels the same to the touch. Just wipe that on and area that can chafe (inner thighs, nipples) and you're good to go.

Stick deodorant works too.

..............I remember the first (and only) time I ever forgot to bodyglide the nips before a half marathon one time. They bled all down my shirt, a total nipple stigmata.

That first shower afterward was fun.........:|

this never happened to me that i can ever remember. how common is it?? and so ur saying if someone runs for a long time they should put something on their nipples or they'll bleed or something? i don't really understand what u guys r talking about...

I knew a really fat girl a few years ago who used to put lube between her thighs when she walked around.

Maybe you could try that

...........Exactly that; the chafing from a shirt (or in his case, running pants or shorts) over various body parts over the course of a lot of miles can cause bleeding or raw spots.

I've found band-aids don't work, as the sweat just makes them fall off, and they wouldn't be ideal for inner thigh chafing anyway. Bodyglide works like a charm.

...........Some use that as well, but the oil in it can ruin clothes.

Oh, ok. I don't have ruinable clothes for working out, most have blood stains all over them :D

.........In that case, what's the fuss over a grease spot? Heh........

If you run 30-45 mins, you will be fine with a loose shirt/pants. but anything over your better off with any kind of deodorant stick applied in the area of friction.

Anybody notice how sensitive the nipples are after using the sauna suit without anything between the plastic and the skin?
