I was reading earlier today through some old ring magazines , and it dawned on me, Lennox Lewis never once won fighter of the year.. Tyson did, i think twice, Holyfield did 3 times, Bowe even managed it in 1992 . But Lewis ?????????? No..
I find it strange the man who beat all of the others that even managed to win fighter of the year as heavys around his era didnīt even get granted that small honor......
I guess Karma became the wrath in this case............
Any thoughts..?

Lewis disnt really get appreciated until 10 years later. It happens to all ATG's. Marciano wasnt seen as that good in his time. Now hes a top 5 ATG HW

Wouldnt say it hapens to all ATGs, its happend a lot though. Ezzard Charles was a massive example. Not sure if it happend on a large scale to Lewis though, other fighters achieved a lot in those years he was in contention for FOTY
