my coach gave all the boxers at the kronk gym in lima ohio the summer off.I decided to keep training,while on break.

by

running a mile 3 times a week

100 pushups

100 crunches

and shadowboxing


does this sound okay

well thats the minimum i think, though i advise you to crack it up more

yeah, I would do more. If you have a bag, practice on that, or buy one to practice. do sprints and more strength training than just push ups.

a good piece of homemade equipment is a simple peice of rope the length of your forearm and wrap paper and tape around the bottom to make a ball and attach it to a rather low and pu t it on the ciling rather low cieling. and punch to your hearts desire.

i have an attic for a gym so thewalls are slanted thus making it lower for me.

but it's like a speed ball but can give you a wack you jab it you slip it you hook it you land combo's on it as it's a moving targer ad a bit of lead or somthing heavy to give it some wieght.

and u could always make ur own medicine ball with an old basketball... do some training with that

That's sounds good enough for your off season training. Be sure to mix it up a little to keep things interesting.

I didn't know Kronk had a gym in Lima. Do you know Greg Cooper? I will have to stop in and check it out next time through, usually stop to get a sack of Kewpee's.

yea i thinki know him.limas kronk gym is a good place to train.we work hard.
