So finally the albanian quitter has had it. the very mediocre thompson gave him a five round beating before ref stopped it.
luan most of the time just stood on the ropes and ate punches......as if he was surprised that the other guy was hitting him:lol: :lol:

To think the fight got stopped due to inactivity on Krasniqis part. :lol: hey this was an eliminator and the arena was near to sold out with the crowd expecting Krasniqi to give them their moneys worth. Luanīs career very likely ended with this match, a bizarre moment seeing him refuse to put up a fight and allowed himself to be taken out of the fight by the ref due to passiveness.

Luan was too slow and too passive for tonight.Altough Tony Thopmson is not a special boxer,He had a impressive fight tonight.Luan has not been good since Bostice fight.And , he was not good against Minto.His World championship's career finished tonight.May be he can fight for EBU but he had a big losses which happened very dramatically and he should be thinking about retirement.

He gave the referee a gesture that he wanted to quit and a couple of seconds later the fight was stopped...this certainly wasn't the Krasniqi we saw against Brewster. Well except the ending ;).
What the hell was wrong with the Albanian quitter?
He just stopped fighting without any obvious reason.Luan has an ant's heart.What a disappointment!

I disliked Krasniqi as an amateur because he always fought in that boring East German style, where you punch one-two and then jumps inside and wrap your arms around the opponent. One-two and then jumps inside again over and over.
As a professional he developed a lot though and did much better, than I had anticipated. He did after all win the European championship twice as a pro. But perhaps he is just too old now (36) and shot.

I dont know to call this fight selling or mentality problem. Some who was in the Color Line Arena told me that laugh after the fight.

I picked thompson to win and made some money with it but how some of you guys are acting is totally classless.
I donīt think that these guys are classless. Krasniqi is classless. He just robbed almoust 10 000 fans, who came to see him fight. He came to take their money, but gave no fight. What was Luanīs purse in this fight? I honestly think that they should not give it to him. If I have understood that when a fighter takes a clear dive, they can take his purse away. This was same as taking a dive.

After round one I was sure that Thompson is gonna win. Luan fought like an heavybag. His offence was OK, but he did not defend himself. He just stood there hands up, just like an heavybag. He just put himself in position where Thompson could hit him and where from he could not hit. And after Thomson had hit him few times he just the side heels down on the canvas.
What was Luanīs purse in this fight? I honestly think that they should not give it to him. If I have understood that when a fighter takes a clear dive, they can take his purse away. This was same as taking a dive.

First of all, no one becomes a legend by just putting the gloves on! Luan didn't become a legend by beating Mintos all his career. He has a record of wins with big names supporting his name. In regards to albanians, we are true fans and we support our fighters. I personally liked luan, but as of this fights i dont have much respect for him. Truly this wasn't anywhere near his usuall performance thats why it seemed like a sold fight with large $$$ involved. Don't get me wrong but although thomson was pretty strong, when the ref interfered in the ring luan wasn't even dissapointed nor angry about the stoppage. Hmm that makes you think. :nono

in regard to Luan i can just say that UNITAS seems to me like a big mouth that only poison comes out of there, nothing more than offending endlessly. I personally criticized Luan for the way he has fought on his last 3 matches. Thats it Luan should keep out of boxing.

Theres no need to rub in it, really, their fighter lost and its difficult to get over such thing, so they re a bit down hearted right now, especially seeing there´s no 2nd Albanian fighter of his calibre in sight or at least not that I knew of any. Its quite certain his career is over now, because whom would Kohl want to sell him to, he got virtually whistled and booed out of the ring in the post fight interview. Most Albanian fans that have posted here have admitted it was a dismal showing, a travesty of a "performance", so why rub it in then.

Its true that he delussed all the albanian fans of his, that is a very big shame.
What i red on the interenet albanian-boxing.com they say that he had two broken ribs, rib 9 and 10.
It is really surprising how he was damaged that much, they say on round 2. personally i am very sceptical about this, but maybe it might have happened. He said he could not breath etc etc. Anyways whats important is that he was send out of worl title which i dont think he deserved in those conditions.
Ibragimov will show to Thomson what a fighter with heart is. Luan failed to do soo. Luan is done for good.

When I saw Krasniqi against Minto I knew he would not make it against Thompson. Thompson has much longer reach and he did not allow Krasniqi to tie him up. To hold him to be clearer. Krasniqi held all night against Minto until he wear him down but he had no size advantage against Thompson. Anyways, Krasqniqi still can fight at European level.

Vidoz was in the best teams but dident work never how they need. He broke him self his carear two time, one time in the USA and second with Saurland Event.

a fight between luan and vidoz would be a matchup of polar opposites: luan the more athletic, faster, more talented.........but a coward.
vidoz tough but lacks boxing skills and maybe some conditioning........but all heart.
were they to fight right now, i pick vidoz cause luan is shot.

I promise you Kampioni that Luan will not retired like this . He make history for albanians and germans. He have great amateur and profesional cariere and i know that he will comeback.

In the Germany will not look him any more, like before, he lost his shine and Germans and Albanians will not be very interesting to watch him, for that he will try to back his shine if Thompson giving him rematch in the USA, but Thompson is also in talks with Wladimir Klitschko.
I think in the September we will know exactly what will happen.
Thompson can fight Krasniqi again, Wlad or Dimitrenko.

I think he deserves a shot against Wlad in November. There's no other HW contender who beat guys like Krasniqi, Guinn and T. Ibragimov.
