Now there is not one thing I could possibly think of to say bad about SSM. He is class of the highest order and he shows outright he LOVES boxing every chance he gets (try to think of any big/ or even good fight you don't see Mosley in the crowd). Truly one of boxing very best good guys.
But Zab is gonna bust his ass.:yep

Ummm, I don't know... Zab is good but if Cotto could not knock down SSM then I don't really see Zab doing it, and IMO that would be Zab's only hope for a win. SSM has one of the best chins if not the best in the entire division, so I don't see him getting hurt badly by Zab, but what I do see probably happening is a good brawl for 6-7 rounds and then SSM using his superior skill and experience to pull off the UD or late stoppage. Thats what I think anyways.....
I just hope it is a good fight! It has all the makings of one. :thumbsup

its hard to pick zab because he has never stepped up in a big fight no matter how good his talent set is....
zab winning would probably be more entertaining tho

I think I might be with you. I'm on my way anyway. Zab has always had the talent, maybe having a real trainer finally will be what he needs to break through. I'm on the fence right now, but give me a week or two and maybe I'll be with you completely.

If Judah loses this fight his career in boxing will be just about over.

Zab will lose, he will have the fight in his pocket then Shane will put the pressure on and go animal attack on him and Zab will fold like always unless Somebody can teach him better defense in the pocket. He can catch Shane getting overly aggressive and he has the firepower to dent that metal head of Shanes. Zab is going to look a whole lot faster in the jump. But the JUDAHISMS will set in around the 6th round.

Seriously, can't Yoel dig up some kind of prayer for calmness? Maybe a Zionist group hug? Just something to get past the sixth on a positive note.

I thought Shane didn't look like the Shane of old against Cotto. He seemed slower and Shane's punches didnt' seem to hurt Cotto that much. I don't think Cotto was fighting backwards because Shane hurt him, Cotto said he just did it to give him a different look. So based on Shane's last fight, I think Zab has a solid chance. Zab's jab is one of the fastest in all of boxing. Floyd couldn't even handle it and Floyd has great defense. If Zab can fight for 12 rounds like he did during the first 5 rounds of the Floyd fight then I think Zab will actually win the fight easily, but that has never happened for Judah. Hopefully Zab will win because it makes the division more interesting. Mosely is old and will only fight once or twice more after the Judah fight. Judah has a lot left to give.

What do you mean when you say that?
That was a pretty close fight, some even saw it for Shane. If Miguel was trying something different for the sake of trying something different he chose the wrong guy to do it against.
If you mean that, then I just cant see how he was doing it. I think Shane just really pushed him.

Zab didn't fold against Cotto!! He took his beating like a MAN, and fought all he could that night. He'd also been off for over a year and only had 1 round of tune-up.
About Mayweather, the articles I've read are saying that everyone is equal in that camp. They want to utilize Mayweather's expetise, and Yoel will still be in camp too. Only they didn't say who would actually be the chief in the corner on fight night.

Yes, please don't take my choice of Zab (not that you did, but just saying for anybody else) as a indicator that I want to see SSM lose. Like I said a few times in this thread already, SSM is one of the very finest indiviuals boxing has, both inside and outside the ring.

Good post with good points, and there was a thread yesterday where SSM said himself that Cotto's speed is what bothered him most. Cotto does have much underated speed, but Zab is lightning.

Zab is so unpredictable. It wouldn't surprise me to see him KO SSM. On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me to see SSM win a UD. It's really just up in the air depending on how focused/in shape Zab is.
That said, I'm still pulling for SUPER Judah!

Also, I still haven't seen FOR SURE that Zab has a different trainer than Yoel. I read that Mayweather was THINKING about training him. Even then though it wasn't a sure thing and it seemed to me that Mayweather didn't want to do it. Anyone have an update on this?
I also saw Zab on Hot 97 saying he was in the best shape of his career... but that's probably Zab being Zab...

Zab will start off great. I'm almost certain he'll take at least 3 of the first 5 rds. After that, it will be curtains. Mosley will break Judah down, possibly stop him around the 10th or take a 8-4 UD.:deal

Last time I checked Judah got rocked by some Z class fighter (his last fight) and looked terrible in later rounds. Zab will win 2 rounds, then its a downhill for him.

At 147, Mosely is a tough nut. He has had his stylistic issues with tall boxer -punchers like Forrest and to a lesser extent Oscar. But against shorter guys he's much better. Zab gets an unfair rap for fading late, but he was just beat up after strong starts against Baldomir, Mayweather and Cotto, all known for finishing strong. Don't forget, Zab finished Cory Spinks kind of late, in the 9th, and Spinks isn't easy to take out. Against Shane though, the same scenerio seems likely...Zab hanging in with Shane early, but ultimatly losing to the guy who finished strong against Cotto. Not so much because Zab will fade, but because Shane is physically stronger, very active and finishes stronger than just about anybody.

More reasons to pick Shane by KO is that he wants to get his last big fight and retire, KO over Judah might open some doors for rematch with Cotto and maby even Floyd (after Hatton fight Floyd mentioned Mosleys name first when giving credit to all current WW's).

I say it every time Zab fights, and it's true now... Zab is a VERY live underdog, and do not count him out. He gave Floyd and Cotto both great fights, he is very talented and capable, and his speed is second to none. Mosley will be the favourite, but Zab is going to make it interesting.

:good Ive never been a big Judah fan but over the last couple of years he has won me round. Lets face it Judah has shown he is a fighter who will fight anyone, Tszyu, Cotto, Mayweather and now Mosely!
I have a funny feeling Judah might win this one, my head says Mosely should win but there is a little devil on my shoulder telling me otherwise
