Quality of the organizations

I'm a boxing fan but occasionally watch MMA. Watched the ultimate fighter thing last night and it got me thinking how do these guys generally compare to people in the other organizations, or generally how do people in the other organizations compare to people in the UFC?

I know there is that showtime league, also theres that one on vs., and the one that is teams. Sorry I can't remember what the names are, but is there generally a pecking order?

Like is the Showtime group the equivalent of triple A in Baseball, or is it much more fluid than that?

The IFL (the teams one)doesnt mean much to me most people reconginize all of there coaches but few other fighters and theyve been kicked off 2 networks. WEC is meant to be like the minor leagues for the UFC as they are run by Zuffa. Elite XC is picking up alot of steam right now and has picked up alot of quality former UFC fighters like Ricco,Baroni,Scott Smith,Nick Diaz etc.
