You can't help but like Mike, despite the things he has done.

As worthless as the Heavyweight Division is today, especially with that faggot Klitschko at the helm, even an older Mike would do the game some good, if he were carefully matched. Say, 2 fights this year, Evander 3, and if he wins that, a megafight in Vegas with my idol, James Toney. The press conferences alone could be PPV.

na we tried that already ...tyson got burried in 4 by a guy who lost to audley harrison ... and then he quit agianst a guy who would fight life and death with pete mcnealy

thats way too intelligent of a post for you younghypno ...

you have to love mike, his movement looks so good, his ducking and weaving was really something to behold.could you have imagined a prime mike vs prime foreman/frazier. that would have been amazing.

if that is recent (last month-i've got no sound) it appears he is getting in shape. last photos of him he was pretty fat. maybe he is going to fight holyfied. i'd rather see him destroy danny williams AGAIN so that when he doesn't get injured, people realize danny's first "w" is a joke.

i still maintain if he had a matchmaker that WASNT A FUCKING IDIOT he could have made a a ton of money just fighting nobodies and people he could beat

and what do they do? put him in with williams and mcbride. both TALL and weighed 50-60 pounds more than tyson. he should have been fighting guys that were chinny and weighed around 240. tyson could have won a couple fights a year, got out of debt, and retired on a winning streak

just my opinion

He does seem to be getting in shape, assuming this is a somewhat recent interview.

He must be starting to spend more time in the gym, as I think the Holy fight will probably happen. I certianly hope it happens.

And if Tyson wins (doubtful), yes, a Willaims rematch would be good to see, as I also agree that had Tyson not tore his knee, he'd have KOed Willaims.

Mike still has the physical tools to win any fight, but with him it's all mental. If he shows up 100% then he can compete with anyone.

Mike today would sell more tickets jacking off publicly in Jersey than klitschko would defending his worthless belts.

That's true, seeing as you alone would buy up every seat in the house for that one.

I think Mike would make a great Trainer... He should look into this and start making some $ He has a wealth of boxing knowledge.
I was thinking the same thing.

Its obviously more than mental at this stage.

Let's be real about it. Tyson is 41 and has to have lost quite a bit of his physical tools. HIs reflexes and stamina are both probably diminished quite a bit, regardless of his how much training he does.

I also agree, if that in fact is a recent video of Mike, He looks in good shape. I believe he may indeed be getting ready to fight one more time. I also believe as one other member discussed that Mike should fight some easy fights to get a winning streak going and then fight Holyfield. If all goes well for him, I would not be surprise for him to get another title shot. These champions are not too big, except for Vlad. Peter vs Tyson, I pay to see that.

As worthless as the Heavyweight Division is today, especially with that faggot Klitschko at the helm.

When a media savvy American comes into the heavy weight division again, no matter how bad or good they are; suddenly the quality of the division will double and it will be an exiting weight again. Any division not dominated by Americans is apparently shit.

Aside from that, great vid by the way, he's done some awful things, but I cant help but like Mike.

I hope this was recent because I want him to get in shape to fight Holyfield.

I wouldn't care that it would be a joke, it would still be entertaining.

Why dont you go to the Jersey Shore and collect some HIV infected needles, there Jersey Boy? Mike today would sell more tickets jacking off publicly in Jersey than klitschko would defending his worthless belts.

how's that working out?.. useing other peoples quotes about themselves and then modifying it as your own.. makes ya feel warm dont it :)

don't get mad at klitchkos because they went to school learned to type and have a future that dosn't revolve around them hanging out in from of cesars palace going "i'm the former heavyweight champion thank you move along"

I always thought Tyson was very likable believe it or not, he talked a bit of shit but there was always a vulnerability there. His movement is still there.

Tyson still has the physical tools to compete with this bad crop of Heavyweights, I just dont think the dedication and mental aspect will be there for a consistant amount of time, enough to win a big fight over a Peter or Wlad. As I told Heavyrighthand a couple weeks back, if Tyson does somehow beat Holyfield, Tyson will get another shot at a title, theres too much money there to pass up, for title holders like Peter, Wlad, or even Chageav, who I see him fighting the most, I read a couple things on other sites saying how much hates Chagaev for not getting rid of his nickname "White Tyson" and would love to fight him.

I don't like his nickname either I didnt mind it until I seen more of his fights, he's nothing like Tyson. I do think with the right training and dedication, Tyson could beat Chagaev in the ring, or at least make it competitive.

I hate to correct you again, Punisher, but my GOD man, you are getting redundant and worn out with your shallow and unfounded, the division sucks nonsense.

Wlad, Vitali, Povetkin, Chambers,.........these guys are all great heavies.......So let's stop slamming them. Wlad is an oustanding heavyweight, regardless of what era he comes from. Chag and Povetking, as well as Vitali. ALL are very good heavyweights. Period. Your constant criticizm is a few years out of date. THe shelf life on your the current heavyweight division sucks line has expired.

I just dont think the dedication and mental aspect will be there for a consistant amount of time, enough to win a big fight over a Peter or Wlad.

At this point, it has little to do with his mental focus or dedication to train. He could get himself in as good of condition as he could possibly be at 41, and any of the top three heavies would embarras Tyson. The aging process has turned, even a supremely conditioned and trained 41 year old Iron Mike Tyson, into Aluminum Mike Tyson. His reflexes and stamina can't be what they were, and given his smallish stature, he'd be beaten like a rented mule against either K brother, and possilbe against Chag and Ibragimov, as well. Maybe Povetkin and Chambers, too, would outbox and thrash a 41 year old and impeccable condtioned Tyson.

Chageav, who I see him fighting the most, I read a couple things on other sites saying how much hates Chagaev for not getting rid of his nickname "White Tyson" and would love to fight him.

I would love to see the original Tyson fight the White Tyson, yes. I see Chagaev moving and outboxing the original Tyson, but it would be an entertaining fight, seeing the original Tyson chase him around the ring....:good And you never know, maybe Iron Mike would corner him and manage to connect.

Fair enough Heavyrighthand, but you act like I'm the only one saying how bad the division is, I could come up with 15 posters that knock it as much as me. If you really believe the division is in such good shape, your in the minority my friend.

I like Chageav, but going off his last fight and styles matchup, a fully prepared mentally and physically Tyson, even at 41, would give Chageav a tough fight. I'm not saying Tyson is coming back to knock everyone out, but considering the state of the Heavyweights today, it is possible, but not probable.

Chagev would blast a 42yr Tyson out in 4 or 5 rounds if Tyson didn't quit first, Tyson hasnt' beat a legitimate contender in 10 years..
Shit if Kevin Mcbride whipped his ass 3 years ago what would Chagev do to him now..
Besides i thought Tyson wanted to mix it up with Holy a 3rd time?/:huhno doubt an easy win for Evander..

I feel sorry for Tyson. This is a man who is so charismatic and could make so much money out of the ring, and he doesnt use it. He has so much boxing knowledge that he can share. In the video, he knows what he's talking about. I've seen him as a gues commentator for fights, and he was excellent because he had so much boxing knowledge and his down to earth attitude. He should really use is celebrity to do him some good. It would be good for boxing, also. I would rather watch him call a fight than listen to Harold lederman

I will pay anything for the press conference alone. perfect matchup. I'm 100% it'll break any ppv records set by any sport. someone needs to tell mike about this since he really needs the money.
