if there was only one fighter that i would wish retire... i think it would be arturo gatti. i would never want to go against somebodys dreams nor do i have any right, but its so hard to see a guy that has gotten beat up (and won many of the fights that he got beaten up) to continue rolling the dice.
in my humble opinion, i think its time to cash in on a good autobiography and as boom boom mancini said, "shut it down":good

i've posted the same mssg in a few threads. i just want Gatti to be healthy 10-20 yrs from now. was hoping he wouldn't fight anymore this yr. glad to hear of him announcing his retirement.
