But seriously, Props to Margo. He fought like a real warrior and champion tonight. I think he clearly was outpointed, but he fought threw alot or adversity and overcame alot of disadvantages and actually made it his fight and took it to Williams for a few rounds late.

Both guys fought great!


But I think we can finally put the "Margarito is a quick puncher because he throws 80 shots per round" argument to rest :good :yep

I never thought he had the greatest speed but I did consider him to be somewhat quick. Tonight though he looked extremely slow though, and his output was flashed in the toilet as well.

Margarito looked a little slower than normal tonight, but I wouldn't call anyone who throws wide, looping punches like him "quick"

they summed up Tony perfect before the fight. No fast, doesnt really hit that hard, not that hard to hit, and after all that he is still a pretty good fighter.

Which is what makes this fight all the more bad for Tony, cuz he got beat in all the areas that he was suppose to be better in. he got outworked.
