Ok youngbloods, how many of you wake up on a Saturday (no smoking or drinking the nite before) and go work out maybe an hour or so after ur out of the sack ? What do u eat ? Or is this really possible to do plus have a productive session ?
Oatmeal, hardboiled egg and fruit is usually what I have for breakfast if I know I'm going to be working out soon.

.............My regimen needs to be taken with a grain of salt, as I don;t fight anymore, just run. That, and I don't run in the morning.
But as a rule, I don't eat for two hours before a run. When I do eat, it'll be carbs; Clif Bars, or a bagel, leftover pasta, stuff like that. Hydration is key, too, I drink plenty of water the few hours leading up to it.
Carbs before, protein after; that's the formula.

I just ate a kilogram of chicken, and drunk a significant quanitity of kahlua and milk. I dont plan to work out in the next few hours, and would advise you of the same if you were in a similar situation.

I just had a smoothie with one banana, a few mandarins, whey protein, yoghurt and flaxseed oil. I won't be working out until 7 PM though, it's only 1 PM at this moment.
