I kinda feel like a noob here. It's the first time i ever heard of this guy and the reason why i got all intrigued about his case is because i've read a bunch of conversations in which some fans were already associating this guy's name with "fedor"...saying that he was the "new" fedor...

Huh , isn't it a bit too early to tell ?...
that's all i'm saying...

here's his fighting record

from what i can judge just by watching the hl , a guy like this would probably end up being subbed by a guy of fedor's caliber...i could be dead wrong though. But i don't believe that faber is "the" #1 P4P...i'll have to watch more of his stuff to get a better idea i guess..

He's a damn good fighter, and an innovator. Everytime I see him fight, he shows me a move I've never seen before in MMA. The guy's pretty well rounded and strong on the ground. He's the real deal, as far as I am concerned. The man doesn't have Fedor's resume, so it's a tough comparison to make. Faber's going to lose here eventually...all fighters do...but he's been a good champ for the WEC.

Not overrated, tore Bibiano Fernandes apart on the ground, the guy who has won a ton of BJJ world championships and fought Kid Yamamoto to a standstill. Subbed Curran, who took Serra and Yamamoto to decision.

He just looks incredible and improves each time.

Dont worry it ends in June when Pulver takes his head off.

I hope you're right, but I really, really doubt it.

Is the 140lb division as deep as HW tho?

Dont doubt Pulver. Most his losses where too superior strikers something Faber isnt. Pulvers got nasty takedown defense enough to keep it standing long enough to land some of his famous lefthands which could lend Faber in a coma.

He has a HS wrestling background but BJ took him down pretty easily as have quite a lot of people. Faber is on another level as far as wrestling goes and competent enough in the striking department to get in close enough to put Jens on his back and get him in trouble. I see this being a 2nd round tko/sub for faber.

I like Faber but wouldn't say he is at a Fedor level as far as P4P goes. Jens will definately test him and hopefully beat him for I really can't stand looking at Fabers big 'ol butt chin, it makes me wanna punch it everytime I see him LOL.

I hope he stands with Pulver. I for some reason loathe Faber and hope Pulver has the chance to land one of those brutal left hands he has.

This would be true altho that says nothing about Faber's pedigree. Faber is strong and well versed in all aspects of the game w/ good defense and cardio. He's the kinda guy that will make ANY fight interesting.

Shout out to Urijah.

True but it still says something that Jens does have a legit victory over BJ probablly the best win over BJ considering Machida was a Heavyweight,BJ had his rib broke while dominating Hughes and the GSP fight was a tossup.

Faber has one of the most rounded games in the sport IMO. That's what makes him successful. He has a solid chin even if it does resemble an ass :yep and he has some powerful punches, elbows & kicks to boot. Oh, and he's always in great shape as any good MMA fighter should be.
