Well... To be honest I don´t really like his looks. Not a man to my taste. And he had a bit of a bad hair day too. Not an hansom fellow in my opinnion.

:think :rofl Im not sure he wanted to know if you were attracted to him physically.
German telly only showed a few highlights, roughly a minute in total or even less than that, so its hard to tell, but from the few images I saw Boytsov didnt look too impressive, too many wild swinging shots for my taste, seemed intent to blow the guy away with one massive stroke, trying to overpower him, instead of picking his punches, but the few moves I saw may well have been deceptive

thank you Kolya, how are you doing? my brother showed me one of your fights a while ago. You got robbed of the decision. You were the tougher man in that ring and i thought you won the fight quite clear.

Still aiming for pro? i hope the distractions dissapears so you can be succesful with your boxing and achieve your goals. i would love to fight in a professional ring. i wouldn't mind having a few tough amateur fights against some really good opponents that can bring out the best of me, before the end of this year. wouldn't you also like to fight as a pro? is there good amateur competition where you're at?

I used to want to when I was younger. I'm just doing a lot beter and have more abilities with other career options though, so I guess I'm just being realistic and going for what will earn me maximum rewards in the long run. I still like boxing though, and would like to get as good as I can as an amateur - I love the lifestyle. Amateur competition is on and off since I'm moving around all over the place right now. I've gotten quite a few fights last year though so stuff stepped up.
You know, if boxing is your main aim I would seriously try to get to a country where it is big - in Western Europe that would be Germany and England, and box out of an amateur club over there. You can get a license relatively quickly in UK, and although you can't box in national tournaments unless you've been there for a year, you can get some fights. Some place like Russia would be more difficult since you would need visas etc. and unless your national boxing federation supports you as an up-and-coming talent you would have difficulty getting into the good gyms over there. However, I know people from Holland who have gone for a month in summer to the Vityaz' gym in Chekhov (where Povetkin trains) having shown some potential.
Then once you have some more fights under your belt you can go back to Sweden and enter the nationals. Don't really know what the level of heavyweights and superheavyweights over there is... anyone good?

Very good, my Viking friend. Marcus told me he showed you my fight, was this the fight where I gave him the 3 8-counts? I was not in good enough condition for that-I had two fights after that, and both of those were questionable as well (I Lost). We think what it may be is my gloves don't have white knuckles and the judges have trouble scoring them. But I'm in much better shape now, and sparring a super heavyweight and someone who is going to the Olympic Trials for the USA, and my defense has improved a lot. I have a tournament in two weeks, and afte I win that I might have another national tournament in October. We'll see how well my skills are working when I win the Ringside tournament, if they're still not all there I might hold off on the tournament in October. How about you? Are you still Super Heavy, or are you at 91kg now? If you want to get amateur fights a bit more you should try coming to the US for a little bit.

Don't really know what the level of heavyweights and superheavyweights over there is... anyone good?yes i know. it's been difficult competing in the sport of boxing here, but now it looks brighter and brighter since the scumbag politicians allowed profesional fighting again. my aim in the amateurs right now is to either win a big tournament or beat up two specific guys in my weightclass. one of them knows i want to fight him but he never told me yes or no. the other guy i have been reading about a few times in the newspapers, never met him but he's gonna have to face me soon because i've started to train at his gym recently. it's been difficult for me to train at a proper boxing gym with good trainers because i've been working so far away from stockholm this year. monday - friday i get up at 5am, sometimes do roadwork, then goes to work, comes home again about 4.30, goes to the gym at 5.30 and is back home again by 8 or 8.30 in the evening. hopefully im going to be stationed in stockholm again after my vaccation so i can train at the best gym again. all i want is to put these two guys to sleep and after that turn pro.
my fighting style and my best qualities are much better suited in a professional ring. i am levels above these guys in the physical strenght and punching power department. i jst want to beat them up and move on to bigger things. but my future in boxing looks much more bright now than before so thats great.
do you still live in Holland? are you into other sports aswell?

yes, the guy recieved standing 8 counts and he looked stunned to me, my brother also think you got robbed of the decision. thats a shame but the most important thing is that you, yourself, know you won the fight. thats great that you get such good sparring and i wish you the best of luck in your upcoming tournament, i think you have the right attitude for winning, but buy yourself a pair of white knuckled gloves so you don't get snitched again.
i am also in great shape right now, im off from training for two weeks now though but i am honestly in the best shape i've ever been in right now. i just gets stronger and stronger and better, i've been working out like hell this year and last year, i am 91 kg now, i am much better at this weight, i actually punch much harder, faster and more precise now than i did when i was 95 or 96 kg, my stamina is better and im actually stronger and bigger physically now although im 5 kg lighter. i keep my weight at around 91 kg all the time now but i can't eat as much as i want. i feel very hungry for winning. i can fight 90 kg guys or 110 kg guys, it doesn't really matter to me.
are you going to record your fights at the upcoming tournament? if so i would love to watch them and see your development. what weightclass are you fighting in right now?

Damn, sounds like you're more of a beast now, man. Love to see you fight sometime. We already took care of the white knuckle glove problem, and luckily at this tournament they provide gloves, and they all have white knuckles. :D Yes, we'll be recording it down there. I just now have to commit more to my right hand like I did in the fight you saw, but keep using my jab and be controlled and copunter if I have to like I've been doing lately. I'm at 75kilos, Middleweight. But really I'm below 75 kilos, after this tournament I'll be lifting weights again to gain the weight back so I won't have shorter, heavier guys trying to bully me inside. The right uppercut feels good now though, so that should keep them off. :D
