I read he fought at 168 yesterday so how is he doing ? He won his last 3 fights by KO (well TKO actually), is he more fit to 168 ?

Holy shit thank god for that,i thought he meant mickey ward,damn that i dont wanna see,look at how screwed up gatti is now,id hate to see mickey come back and end up the same way.

Wow that was 3 years ago. At the time, Andre did not convince a lot of people.
Now he is among the top fighter in the division. Nice streak.

In fairness, optimism aside, nobody could have known based on how he looked three years ago what he would look like today - stellar amateur or no.

Pros is pros. And in 2007, Andre was not a very good looking pro.

Now he's arguably the best Super Middleweight in the world, and certainly not outside the top three in any event.

Well, I remember watching couple of his fights back then and he was doing pretty good to me. Skills, speed, defense, footwork... he had everything you would expect from an Olympic gold medalist.
But I do remember he had some physical problems when he was a middleweight. Now, at 168, he is much better and seems to have got back his determination.
