This should be a really good fight and its getting very little attention because of Hopkins-Calzaghe.

I'm going with Adamek because Bell looked like he had no desire to win in the Mormeck rematch, he dosent stay busy and he's had mental problems.

Bell by late KO is my prediction. You are right about Bell's attitude and he never looks like he is trying that hard............But he does have good skills and hits like a heavyweight. Adamek doesn't have that good of defense and likes to slug which will play right into Bell's power!

I am going to throw some $ on Bell, so I hope I am right. Adamek is almost a 2 -1 favorite???

Christ, I didnt realise he was favored that heavily. If had some spare cash right now I'd probably do the same.

I like Adamek Saturday. Bell just seems disinterested.

Bell is dangerous as hell but Adamek will win on grit and determination.

I like Bell but I get the feeling he is nearing the end.

Nice fight especially for a Sat. afternoon/evening.

I agree & was thinking about that yesterday. Was a huge Adamek fan when he was Lt. HW Champ. Some of the luster was lost after his terrible performance against Dawson. He wasn't right in that fight, health-wise, so you can't blame him. Had he been 100%, Dawson would be an after thought.
I'm not all that familar with Bell. I know he has power, but lacks technical skills. So because of that, I have to say Adamek will show this guy what boxing skills are & what it takes to win in the ring. Hopefully, Bell won't get lucky & land the big one.

((((((((((((((((GO ADAMEK)))))))))))))))))

He should. A real boxing lesson...take him to school. But you gotta give Bell a punchers chance.

I hope Adamek has been working on his head movement.:bbb

Is this a title eliminator fight? The winner getting Cunningham?

WBA & WBC don't even have Bell or Adamek ranked, yet the IBF has TA @ #3 & Bell @ #7. Fightnews.com has Bell @ #5 & TA @ #11. With an Adamek win, he's right back in the picture for a title fight.

He'll do it. He's a smart & technically sound fighter.

Yeah Jets, its an eliminator for Cunn's belt. And that botters me the most :( Cunn is a technically great fighter, a slick mofo and we know Tomek has problems with more sound fighters than he is. And Tomek's biggest advantage - speed - would be nullified couse USS has a great hand and foot speed. But he have to win on 19th first to even think about Cunningham.

Be more worried about Bell the Cunningham.Cunningham has no pop.

Cunningham is a dear in headlites when he gets cracked.Wlodarczyk and Huck are plodders.Adamek is a different animal.Adamek will make Cunningham fight defensive(Wlodarczyk 1 he ran and clinched all night long).

Dawson had even less power and look what he did to Tomek. He was backing him up. But you're right - Tomek is in another league skillwise, both Huck and Wlodarczyk are rather limited.

And another thing - after Cunn's first fight with Diablo he looked a lot better. More agressive, he was throwing more punches and with more power.

I think Tomek is capable of beating both Bell and Cunningham but I think that USS will make a harder fight.

Im gonna go with Adamek on points but its not going to be easy. If Bell shows up to fight, it could be a long night for Tomasz. I could definitely see him winning this too. Im actually really looking forward to this fight and glad that ESPN Classic picked it up.

GO ADAMEK!

Dawson is a much better fighter than Cunningham and most importantly he is a Southpaw.

It's not that hard to look good against someone who loads up and throws 5 punches per round.

Huck and Wlodarczyk are 1 punch plodders.Adamek is a worker and knows how to win rounds.

On most other weekends, this fight would be getting a lot more attention.

If Bell is still at or near the top of his game, I expect him to win. But I am not sure where Bell is. He's been out of the ring awhile and his behavior has been anything but stable.

Cunningham isn't as skilled and talented as Dawson (and he's a righty as you pointed out) but he definitely know how to spoil his opponents gameplan and cut the workrate. I hope you're right tho, and we will soon have an IBF Cruiserweight champion of the world :good

There are some very interesting fighters on the undercard of Adamek vs Bell.
Hutkowski,Jonak, the undefeated Polish heavy weight Wawrzek, and his Polish rival Bonin will appear on the undercard.

To be honest I am more interested in Lukas Janik, a Polish cruiser weight talent .He is a diamond in the rough. He still needs quite a long period of time before he is ready to take on fighters of the upper echelon of his weight division though.
Keep an eye on him!
His fellow cruiser and compatriot Hutkowski wont go far IMO.I can be wrong of course. But his last draw with a very limited African journeyman didnt bode well for his further career in the paid ranks.

By the way Polish olympian Kuziemski is one of the most underrated fighters at lightheavy. He is a feather fisted runner, but a true artist inside a box ring.

I disagree about Bell's will to win in that fight. Mormeck boxed very well, showed an iron chin, and knew he was ahead, making it tough for Bell to get to him.

A big question mark here is ring rust on the part of Bell. We just haven't seen him in forever. Braithwaite came back after a huge layoff against Macca and looked bad. Bell could do the same. Bell is also prone to being outboxed by angles, see his fight with Dale Brown.

However, I think the key here is not so much Bell as it is Adamek. I'm just not convinced that he's a real Cruiser. To win this, he'll have to straight up move and box, avoiding the exchanges he invariably gets into. I'm not sure he can do that.

Bell does have power and he's shown time and time again that he can finish opponents late in fights when things aren't going his way. He did it earlier in his career against Arthur Williams and Sebastiaan Rothmann to name two, and I think he'll do it again against Adamek.

I look for Bell's strength and power to get to Adamek late.

Bell TKO 9
