now let's see, taylor who beat hopkins twice and then gets destroyed by pavlik managed to go twice 12 rounds without suffering a single knockdown, what makes you thing tha joe is going to fold against hopkins???? winky is a 147 and 154 pound fighter, hopkins did not hurt winky, hopkins doesn't have the tools to beat joe, and I'll bet you we won't see you here untill next week, because we know you will stay away from this forum.

Larry Donald and Sultan Ibragimov had no business being in the ring with Evander, but, they were and beat him.
Leon Spinks and Trevor Berbick had no business being in the ring with Muhammad Ali, but, they were and beat him.
Oliver McCall and Brian Nielsen had no business being in the ring with Larry Holmes, but, they were and beat him.

I usually dont go along with these who beat who type posts, but this makes some sense to me.
Joe will beat Hopkins 8-4, but will win a split or close unanimous decision.

WHAT IF Ali never fought Foreman? To this day, the Foreman fans / Ali haters, would say that Ali had a tough time all 3 vs Frazier, while Foreman beat Joe twice in 2 and then in 5, so Foreman would kill Ali....That's the propper logic, but look what happened.
No one else, I believe, could KO Shavers in 1, as Quarry did...so he had a much easier time than Ali did vs Ernie., and Holmes couldn't do Shavers in 1 either, but Ron Lyle beat him, and Quarry barely beat Lylehmmmmmmmmm

Calzaghe as boxer much more pleasing on the eye than Hopkins. I like him better as a man, and I would like to see Calzaghe fight other fighters around the weight and I am not too botherd about seeing Hopkins fight anybody.
However, I have nothing against Hopkins and wish him no harm. :good

Age.Bullshit stoppage...bad call,etc,etc..but of course Joe was almost 34 and about 6 years older than Lacy, while adding one years difference here, makes it 7 between Joe and Bernerd..so Joes' 6 year seniority to Lacy was no factor, but add one year more between Joe and nerd, makes a world of difference...IF, and I say IF Joe wins, I will not accept age as a factor, because the Joe haters would not allow the same excuse if lacy had won...whoever wins, WINS, and I believe neither one of these 2 are less than grade A material...but there is always the homefield advantage for Hoppy, which Joe has enjoyed in the past..:hi:

I've entertained the notion repeatedly.
In the unlikely event that Calzaghe does win, I will be the first to admit I was wrong and I will give him his due credit!
And under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will I try and I discredit the victory by bringing age into the equation. If Calzaghe does win, it has nothing to do with Hopkins' age and EVERYTHING to do with Joe being the better man.
That said, Calzaghe is a sack of shit who shall inevitablly be taken to school by Hopkins!

Joe wins 8 rounds, but the biased judges score it closer. Golden Boy's way of making a less than stellar fight more exciting.

Calzaghe has no business being in the same ring as Hopkins...
A 11 year reign undefeated World champion has no place in a ring with another top fighter. No, true, what I actually want is a Boston club fighter with no record to fight Hopkins. Thus continuing the healthy complexion of this clean cut, transparant sport.
